1. General Manager of South Central Railway, Vinod Kumar Yadav, has been appointed as Chairman of Railway Board and ex-officio Principal Secretary to Government of India. His appointment came after Ashwani Lohani’s superannuation on Monday (31 December).
दक्षिण मध्य रेल्वेचे महाप्रबंधक, विनोद कुमार यादव यांची रेल्वे बोर्डचे अध्यक्ष आणि भारत सरकारचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून नियुक्ती झाली आहे. सोमवार (31 डिसेंबर) रोजी अश्विनी लोहानी यांच्या उपनियंत्रणानंतर त्यांची नियुक्ती झाली.

2. State-owned Allahabad Bank and SBI Life Insurance partnership to sell the policies of the insurer from over 3,238 branches of the Allahabad Bank. The agreement is considered as one of the largest Bancassurance partnerships in the country.
अलाहाबाद बँकेच्या 3,238 शाखांमधून विमा कंपनीची पॉलिसी विकण्यासाठी राज्य मालकीच्या इलाहाबाद बँक आणि एसबीआय लाइफ इन्शुरन्स भागीदारी केली आहे. हा करार देशातील सर्वात मोठ्या बँकाश्युरन्स भागीदारीपैकी एक मानला जातो.

3. India’s largest airline IndiGo has become the first domestic airline to have longer range Airbus A321neo (new engine option) plane in its fleet with the first aircraft arriving from the European aviation major Airbus’ Hamburg facility in Germany.
भारतातील सर्वात मोठी विमान कंपनी इंदिगो ही पहिली घरेलू विमानसेवा बनली आहे ज्यात एअरबस A321neo (नवीन इंजिन पर्याय) विमान आहे जो जर्मनीच्या युरोपीय विमानसेवा प्रमुख एअरबसच्या हॅम्बर्ग सुविधेतून येणारा पहिला विमान आहे.

4. Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan took over as the first Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, which came into existence on the first day of 2019.
न्यायाधीश तोत्ततिल बी राधाकृष्णन यांनी तेलंगाना उच्च न्यायालयाचे पहिले मुख्य न्यायाधीश म्हणून पदभार सांभाळला. तेलंगाना उच्च न्यायालय 2019 च्या पहिल्या दिवशी अस्तित्वात आले आहे.

5. The government has infused 10,882 crore rupees in four public sector banks, including UCO Bank and Syndicate Bank. It is a part of 28,615 crore rupees capital infusion to be done in about half a dozen public sector lenders.
यूको बँक आणि सिंडिकेट बँक समेत चार सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील बँकांमध्ये सरकारने 10,882 कोटी रूपये गुंतविले आहेत. सुमारे अर्धा डझन सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील कर्जदारांमध्ये 28,615 कोटी रुपयांचे भांडवल ओतणे हा एक भाग आहे.

8. The RBI has proposed a one-time loan restructuring scheme for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The loan restructuring would be a big relief for troubled small businesses hit by demonetization in late 2016 and the implementation of goods and service tax (GST) in July 2017.
आरबीआयने सूक्ष्म, लघु आणि मध्यम उद्योगांसाठी (एमएसएमई) एकवेळ कर्ज पुनर्गठन योजना प्रस्तावित केली आहे. 2016 च्या अखेरीस छोट्याशा व्यवसायांचे प्रदर्शन आणि जुलै 2017 मध्ये माल आणि सेवा कर (जीएसटी) अंमलबजावणीमुळे अडथळे आणण्यासाठी कर्ज पुनर्गठन करणे ही एक मोठी मदत असेल.
