2. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh embarked for a two-day visit to Tashkent to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

5. Sanjeev Nandan Sahai has assumed charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Power. Previously, he served as the Special Secretary in the Ministry of Power.
संजीव नंदन सहाय यांनी ऊर्जा मंत्रालयाच्या सचिवपदाचा कार्यभार स्वीकारला आहे. यापूर्वी त्यांनी ऊर्जा मंत्रालयात विशेष सचिव म्हणून काम पाहिले.

6. Government e-Marketplace (GeM) signed MoU with Indian Bank and Canara Bank for payment-related services. About the MoU: The MoU will provide a paperless, cashless, and transparent payment system on the GeM portal.
शासकीय ई-मार्केटप्लेस (जीएम) ने पेमेंटशी संबंधित सेवांसाठी इंडियन बँक आणि कॅनरा बँकेबरोबर सामंजस्य करार केला. सामंजस्य करारानुसार: सामंजस्य करारात जीएम पोर्टलवर पेपरलेस, कॅशलेस आणि पारदर्शक पेमेंट सिस्टम उपलब्ध होईल.

7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a two-day state visit to Thailand from 2 to 4 November 2019. He is visiting Bangkok at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

10. Film producer Champak Jain passed away after suffering from a brain haemorrhage. He was 52.
