1. Lal Bahadur Shastri, India’s second Prime Minister’s birth anniversary is celebrated on October 2, coinciding with Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
भारताचे दूसरे पंतप्रधान लाल बहादूर शास्त्री यांची जयंती 2 ऑक्टोबर रोजी महात्मा गांधी यांच्या जयंतीसह साजरी केली जाते.

2. India celebrates 150th Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.A series of activities are being organized across the country and by the Indian Missions abroad.
भारत राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी यांची 150 वी जयंती साजरी करीत आहे. देशभरात आणि परदेशात असलेल्या भारतीय मिशनच्या वतीने विविध उपक्रम राबविण्यात येत आहेत.

3. International Day of Non-Violence is observed on 2 October. The day is observed on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. He is the leader of the Indian independence movement and pioneer of the philosophy and strategy of non-violence.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय अहिंसा दिन 2 ऑक्टोबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो. महात्मा गांधी यांच्या जयंतीदिवशी हा दिवस पाळला जातो. ते भारतीय स्वातंत्र्य चळवळीचे नेते आणि अहिंसेच्या तत्वज्ञानाचे आणि रणनीतीचे प्रणेते आहेत.

4. A 1,650 kg charkha (spinning wheel) which was made out of plastic waste will be inaugurated on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
वापरल्या जाणार्‍या प्लास्टिक कचर्‍यापासून बनवलेल्या 1,650 किलोच्या जगातील सर्वात मोठ्या चरख्याचे (स्पिनिंग व्हील) महात्मा गांधी यांच्या 150 व्या जयंतीनिमित्त नोएडामध्ये उद्घाटन झाले.

5. The World Economic Forum’s 33rd India Economic Summit is to be held from 3-4 October in New Delhi, India. The theme of the WEF’s 33rd India Economic Summit is Innovating for India: Strengthening South Asia, Impacting the World.
वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरमची 33 वी भारत आर्थिक शिखर परिषद 3-4 ते  ऑक्टोबर दरम्यान नवी दिल्ली, भारत येथे होणार आहे. WEFच्या 33 व्या भारत आर्थिक शिखर परिषदेचा विषय भारतासाठी नाविन्यपूर्ण आहे: दक्षिण आशिया मजबूत करणे, जगावर परिणाम करणे.

6. Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Shri Ram Vilas Paswan launched the ‘Consumer App’ in Krishi Bhawan.
केंद्रीय ग्राहक व्यवहार, अन्न व सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्री श्री रामविलास पासवान यांच्या हस्ते कृषी भवनमध्ये ‘कंज्यूमर अ‍ॅप’ लॉंच करण्यात आले आहे.

7. The government-appointed Economist Dr Surjit S Bhalla as Executive Director for India at International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a period of three years.
अर्थशास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. सुरजित एस भल्ला यांना आंतरराष्ट्रीय नाणेनिधी (आयएमएफ) येथे तीन वर्षांच्या कालावधीसाठी कार्यकारी संचालक म्हणून सरकारने नियुक्त केले आहे.

8. The Union Government issued a notification regarding minimum stipend payable to trade apprentices. The State Ministers’ Conference on Skill Development in New Delhi, Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Mahendra Nath Pandey said that minimum stipend will be on qualification based and range from five thousand to nine thousand rupees per month from now onwards.
केंद्र सरकारने व्यापार प्रशिक्षणार्थ्यांना किमान वेतन देय देण्याबाबत अधिसूचना जारी केली. कौशल्य विकास व उद्योजकता मंत्री महेंद्र नाथ पांडे यांनी नवी दिल्लीतील कौशल्य विकास या विषयावरील राज्य मंत्र्यांची परिषद, सांगितले की, किमान वेतन पात्रता आधारित असेल आणि आतापासून दरमहा पाच हजार ते नऊ हजार रुपये असेल.

9. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched soaps made of cow dung and bamboo water bottles manufactured by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission.
केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या हस्ते खादी व ग्रामोद्योग आयोगाने तयार केलेल्या गाईच्या शेणापासून बनविलेले साबण आणि बांबूच्या पाण्याच्या बाटल्या लॉंच करण्यात आले.

10. Ministry of Finance has launched the Documentation Identification Number (DIN) system of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on 1 October 2019.
अर्थ मंत्रालयाने 1 ऑक्टोबर 2019 रोजी केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर मंडळाची (CBDT) दस्तऐवजीकरण ओळख क्रमांक (DIN) प्रणाली लॉंच केली आहे.
