1.The Mangalore International Airport has been adjudged the cleanest airport in the country. Airport director VV Rao received the award during the 23rd annual day celebrations of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in New Delhi.
मंगलोर आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ देशातील सर्वात स्वच्छ विमानतळ ठरले आहे. विमानतळाचे संचालक व्ही. व्ही. राव यांनी नवी दिल्लीतील भारतीय विमानतळ प्राधिकरण (एएआय) च्या 23 व्या वर्धापन दिनानिमित्त हा पुरस्कार प्रदान केला.

2. Debjani Ghosh, former managing director of Intel South Asia, is the new president of Nasscom. She has replaced R.Chandrashekhar upon completion of his term.
इंटेल दक्षिण आशियाच्या माजी व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक, देबजानी घोष, नासकॉमच्या नवीन अध्यक्ष आहेत. त्या आर.केन्द्रशेखर यांची जागा घेतील.

3. Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the world-class Interpretation Centre and tourist facilities at Konark Sun Temple.
केंद्रीय पेट्रोलियम आणि नैसर्गिक वायू मंत्री, कौशल्य विकास आणि उद्यमीता धरमेंदर प्रधान यांनी कोनार्कमध्ये कोनार्क सन मंदिर येथे जागतिक दर्जाचे व्याख्यान केंद्र आणि पर्यटन सुविधांचे उद्घाटन केले.

4.  In India, the Post Office Payment Bank has started its services from 1st April, 2018. It will be known as India Post Payment Bank and it will be the largest payment bank network in the country.
भारतात पोस्ट ऑफिस पेमेंट बँकेने 1 एप्रिल 2018 पासून आपली सेवा सुरू केली आहे. या सेवेला भारतातील पोस्ट पेमेंट बँक म्हणून ओळखली जाईल आणि देशातील सर्वात मोठा पेमेंट बँक नेटवर्क असेल.

5. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is in Russia to attend the 7th Moscow Conference on International Security.
संरक्षण मंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन रशियात आंतरराष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा परिषदेच्या 7 व्या मॉस्को परिषदेला उपस्थित राहणार आहेत.

6. The state government of West Bengal introduced a new scheme called ‘Rupashree’ in order to provide marriage assistance to girls coming from economically weaker families with a budgetary allocation of Rs 1500 crore.
पश्चिम बंगालच्या राज्य सरकारने आर्थिकदृष्ट्या दुर्बल कुटुंबांसाठी 1500 कोटी रुपयांची अर्थसंकल्पीय तरतुदी करून मुलींना विवाह सहाय्य प्रदान करण्यासाठी ‘रुपश्री’ नावाची नवी योजना सुरु केली आहे.

7. The World Autism Awareness Day was observed across the world on April 2, 2018.The theme of World Autism Awareness Day 2018 was ‘Empowering Women and Girls with Autism’.
जागतिक ऑटिज्म  जागृती दिन 2 एप्रिल 2018 रोजी जगभरात साजरा करण्यात आला. जागतिक ऑटिज्म जागृती दिन 2018 ची थीम ‘सशक्तीकरण महिला आणि ऑटिझमसह मुली’ होते.

8. Czech carmaker Skoda on Monday said Gurpratap Boparai has taken charge as the Managing Director of its Indian arm Skoda Auto India Private Ltd.
कार निर्माता स्कोडा यांनी सांगितले की, गुरप्रताप बोपराय यांनी भारतीय स्कोडा ऑटो इंडिया प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेडचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक म्हणून पदभार घेतला आहे.

9. Foreign secretary Vijay Gokhale held extensive talks with the leadership of Bhutanese government on important bilateral and regional issues during his two-day visit to Bhutan.
परराष्ट्र सचिव विजय गोखले यांनी भुतानच्या दोन दिवसांच्या दौऱ्या दरम्यान महत्त्वाच्या द्विपक्षीय आणि प्रादेशिक विषयांवर भुतानी सरकारच्या नेतृत्वाशी विस्तृत चर्चा केली.

10. Veteran Tamil film director C.V. Rajendran died. He was 81.
अनुभवी तमिळ चित्रपट दिग्दर्शक C.V.राजेंद्रन यांचे निधन झाले. ते 81 वर्षांचे होते.
