3. Lt Gen Podali Shankar Rajeshwar took charge as the Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman & Nicobar Command (CINCAN) on 1 December 2019. He is the 14th CINCAN. Before the appointment, he served as the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC).

5. Rajya Sabha passed the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Bill, 2019. The bill seeks to prohibit the production, trade, transport, storage and advertisement of electronic cigarettes in the country.
राज्यसभेने इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिगरेट बंदी विधेयक 2019 मंजूर केले. या विधेयकात देशातील इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिगरेटचे उत्पादन, व्यापार, वाहतूक, साठवण आणि जाहिरात करण्यास मनाई करण्यात आली आहे.

7. Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises reported that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector has contributed over 29% of Gross domestic product (GDP) and over 49% of Indian exports.

8. NASA satellite orbiting the Moon has found India’s Vikram lander which crashed on the lunar surface in September.
