1. The Union Tourism Ministry has launched the National Best Tourism Village Competition and the National Best Rural Homestay Competition 2024 to strengthen the promotion and development of Rural Tourism in the country.
केंद्रीय पर्यटन मंत्रालयाने देशातील ग्रामीण पर्यटनाचा प्रचार आणि विकास करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय सर्वोत्तम पर्यटन गाव स्पर्धा आणि राष्ट्रीय सर्वोत्तम ग्रामीण होमस्टे स्पर्धा 2024 सुरू केली आहे.

2. The Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX), the flagship initiative of the Department of Defence Production, has achieved a significant milestone by signing its 300th contract.

5. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched a new individual, savings, and Whole Life Insurance plan called Jeevan Utsav. This plan is available for age starting from 90 days to 65 years.
भारतीय आयुर्विमा महामंडळ (LIC) ने जीवन उत्सव नावाची नवीन वैयक्तिक, बचत आणि संपूर्ण जीवन विमा योजना सुरू केली आहे. ही योजना 90 दिवसांपासून ते 65 वर्षांपर्यंतच्या वयासाठी उपलब्ध आहे.

6. India has achieved a significant milestone by being unanimously elected as a member representing the Asian region in the Executive Committee of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC).

8. The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) has sanctioned Rs 2.23 lakh crore for the procurement of 97 Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (Mark 1A) and 156 Prachand Light Combat Helicopters (LCH), underscoring India’s commitment to bolster its armed forces’ combat capabilities.

9.
