1. 5 April marks the National Maritime Day of India.

2. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cut its repo rate under liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 basis points to 6%, with immediate effect.
भारतीय रिजर्व बँकेने (आरबीआय) त्याच्या रेपो दर तात्काळ प्रभावाने तरलता समायोजन सुविधा (एलएएफ) अंतर्गत 25 बेसिस पॉईंट्सने 6% कमी केला आहे.

3. In a bid to further improve the cash position of banks, RBI has tweaked liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) norms to provide an additional 2 per cent window to lenders.
बँकांच्या रोख स्थितीत सुधार घडवून आणण्यासाठी आरबीआयने कर्जदारांना अतिरिक्त 2 टक्के प्रदान करण्यासाठी लिक्विडिटी कव्हरेज रेशो (एलसीआर) च्या नियमांमध्ये बदल केले आहेत.

4.  Fourth Meeting of India-Ukraine Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation (IU-WGTEC) was held in New Delhi.

6. Shri Rakesh Malhotra, Who was a Consul General, Consulate General of India, Melbourne appointed as the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Cameroon.

7. Third edition of bilateral maritime exercise “AUSINDEX” between Australian and Indian Navies has been started at Visakhapatnam.

8. UAE has conferred the prestigious Zayed Medal on Prime Minister Modi.It is the highest decoration awarded to kings, presidents and heads of states.

9. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi to collaborate in the field of standardisation and conformity assessment.
