1. World Soil Day is observed on 5 December every year to raise awareness about the importance of soil on Earth.

2. International Volunteer Day is observed on 5 December every year. The day provides a unique chance for volunteers and organizations to celebrate their efforts, to share their values.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक दिन दरवर्षी 5 डिसेंबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो. हा दिवस स्वयंसेवक आणि संस्थांना त्यांचे प्रयत्न साजरे करण्यासाठी, त्यांची मूल्ये सांगण्यासाठी अनोखी संधी प्रदान करतो.

3. The Mumbai Central station of Railways was conferred with the ‘Eat Right Station’ certification with four stars rating by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

4. Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was conferred posthumously with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Public Service at the Economic Times Award 2019.
माजी अर्थमंत्री अरुण जेटली यांना मरणोत्तर आर्थिक टाइम्स पुरस्कार 2019 मध्ये लोकसेवेसाठी जीवनगौरव पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले.

5. The 3rd edition of National Public Procurement Conclave began held in New Delhi. The conclave was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Railways, Piyush Goyal along with Minister of State of Commerce and Industry, Som Parkash.

7. Masatsugu Asakawa has been elected as the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) by the Bank’s Board of Governors.
बँकेच्या गव्हर्नर बोर्डाने मसात्सुगु असकावा यांना एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँकेच्या (एडीबी) अध्यक्षपदी निवडले आहे.

8. The 2nd edition of the Startup India Global Venture Capital Summit is to be held from 6-7 December 2019 in Goa. The summit aims to support the Fund Managers and Limited Partners of Top Global Venture Capital Firms.
स्टार्टअप इंडिया ग्लोबल व्हेंचर कॅपिटल समिटची दुसरी आवृत्ती गोव्यामध्ये 6-7 डिसेंबर 2019 रोजी आयोजित केली जाणार आहे. शिखर परिषदेचे उद्दीष्ट शीर्ष ग्लोबल व्हेंचर कॅपिटल फर्मचे फंड व्यवस्थापक आणि मर्यादित भागीदारांना पाठबळ देण्याचे आहे.

9. Ministry of Home Affairs reported that more than 14,500 Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) have been banned in the last five years. Those NGOs were registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). The report was submitted by the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai.
गृह मंत्रालयाने दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार, गेल्या पाच वर्षांत 14,500 पेक्षा अधिक अशासकीय संस्थांवर (NGO) बंदी घालण्यात आली आहे. त्या स्वयंसेवी संस्था विदेशी योगदान नियमन कायद्यांतर्गत (FCRA) नोंदणीकृत आहेत. केंद्रीय गृह राज्यमंत्री नित्यानंद राय यांनी हा अहवाल सादर केला.

10. India captain Virat Kohli regained the top spot in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Test rankings in batting.
