1. The 1st meeting of the Joint Working Group in the field of Renewable Energy between India and Bahrain was held in virtual format.

2. Raksha Mantri, Rajnath Singh has inaugurated the ‘Chiefs of Air Staff (CAS) Conclave’ at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

3. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said that the monetary policy review has decided to continue with an accommodative stance of monetary policy to maintain status quo on key policy rates.

6. Rating agency Moody’s recently predicted that India’s nominal gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by nearly 17% in fiscal 2021

8. The Government has released a Draft Final Report of the National Rail Plan. The National Railway Plan aims to provide long-term planning for the expansion of the railway network.
राष्ट्रीय रेल्वे योजनेच्या ठळक मुद्देांचा मसुदा अंतिम अहवाल सरकारने जारी केला आहे. राष्ट्रीय रेल्वे योजनेचे उद्दीष्ट रेल्वे नेटवर्कच्या विस्तारासाठी दीर्घकालीन नियोजन प्रदान करणे आहे.

9. The 16th India-US joint military exercise “Yudh Abhyas” will begin in Rajasthan on February 8 and end on February 21, 2021. The exercise will be held near the border between India and Pakistan.
