1.The Odisha government launched KHUSHI scheme to provide free sanitary napkins to school girls across the state.
ओडिशा सरकारने  शाळेतील मुलींना मोफत सॅनिटरी नॅपकिन देण्याकरिता खुशी योजनेची घोषणा केली.

2. National People’s Party (NPP) President Conrad Sangma will be the new chief minister of Meghalaya. There would be no deputy chief minister for the state. He will replace Mukul Sangma.
नॅशनल पीपल्स पार्टीचे (एनपीपी) अध्यक्ष कॉनराड संगमा मेघालयचे नवे मुख्यमंत्री असतील.  ते मुकुल संगमा यांची जागा घेतील.

3. The 90th Annual Academy Awards (also known as Oscar Awards) were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the USA.
अमेरिकेतील लॉस एंजल्सच्या डॉल्बी थिएटरमध्ये, 90 वा वार्षिक अकादमी पुरस्कार (ऑस्कर पुरस्कार) आयोजित करण्यात आला होता.

4. The famous Chameli Devi Jain Award, given to women journalists for special contribution, will be given to the TV journalist Uma Sudhir this year.
विशेष योगदानासाठी महिला पत्रकारांना दिला जाणारा प्रसिद्ध चमेली देवी जैन पुरस्कार, या वर्षी टीव्ही पत्रकार उमा सुधीर यांना दिला जाणार आहे.

5. Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, inaugurated the first Mega Food Park of Maharashtra ‘Satara Mega Food Park Pvt. Ltd.’ at Degaon, Satara.
केंद्रीय अन्नप्रक्रिया उद्योग मंत्री हरसिमरत कौर बादल यांनी महाराष्ट्रातील सातारा मेगा फूड पार्कचे उद्घाटन केले.

6. The Union Cabinet has approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Jordan on Cooperation in the Field of Manpower.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने भारत आणि जॉर्डन यांच्यात मानव संसाधन क्षेत्रात सहकार्यावर एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

7. India, Bangladesh and Russia have signed tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in construction of Rooppur nuclear power plant near Dhaka, Bangladesh.
भारत, बांगलादेश आणि रशिया यांनी ढाका, बांग्लादेशजवळ रुपपूर परमाणु ऊर्जा प्रकल्पाच्या उभारणीसाठी सहकार्यासाठी त्रिपक्षीय सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

8. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have named wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik as their captain for the upcoming season of IPL.
IPLच्या येत्या हंगामासाठी कोलकाता नाईट रायडर्सने (केकेआर) यष्टिरक्षक-फलंदाज दिनेश कार्तिकला कर्णधार म्हणून निवडले आहे.

9. Indian Railways launched the new Arunachal Express. Minister of Railways, Arunachal Pradesh Rajen Gohain and Minister of Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the Arunachal Express train.
भारतीय रेल्वेने नवीन अरुणाचल एक्स्प्रेस सुरू केली आहे. अरुणाचल प्रदेशचे रेल्वेमंत्री राजेंद्र गोहेन आणि गृहमंत्री किरन रिजिजू यांनी अरुणाचल एक्स्प्रेसचे उद्घाटन केले.

10. Roger Bannister, the first man to run a mile in under four minutes, died. He was 88.
एक मैलाचे अंतर चार मिनिटांपेक्षा कमी वेळेत पूर्ण करणारे जगातील पहिले धावपटू रोजर बनिस्टर यांचे निधन झाले. ते 88 वर्षांचे होते.
