1. The Union Cabinet led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its in-principle approval to set up a Major Port at Wadhavan near Dahanu in Maharashtra. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs.65,544.54 crore.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने महाराष्ट्रातील डहाणूजवळ वाढवण  येथे एक प्रमुख बंदर उभारण्यास तत्वतः मान्यता दिली. प्रकल्पाची एकूण अंदाजित किंमत रु.65,544.54 कोटी आहे.

2. Ministry of Commerce and Industry is conducting the 22nd edition of India International Seafood Show (IISS) 2020 in Kochi from 7-9 February 2020.

3. Snow and Avalanche Studies Establishment (SASE) report on mid-winter assessment stated that the snowfall received from November 2019 to January 2020 has been the highest in the past 30 years.
हिवाळा आणि हिमस्खलन अभ्यास प्रतिष्ठान (SASE) च्या हिवाळ्याच्या मुल्यांकन अहवालात असे म्हटले आहे की नोव्हेंबर 2019 ते जानेवारी 2020 या काळात झालेला हिमवर्षाव मागील 30 वर्षात सर्वाधिक आहे.

4. International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is observed on 6 February. The day is observed to end the practice of FGM. It creates awareness about FGM which is a violation of the human rights of girls and women.
महिला जननेंद्रियाच्या उत्तेजनासाठी आंतरराष्ट्रीय शून्य सहिष्णुता दिवस (FGM) 6 फेब्रुवारी रोजी साजरा केला जातो. एफजीएमचा सराव संपवण्यासाठी हा दिवस पाळला जातो. हे एफजीएम बद्दल जागरूकता निर्माण करते जे मुली आणि महिलांच्या मानवी हक्कांचे उल्लंघन आहे.

6. The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi approved the Indian Institutes of Information Technology Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2020. The Bill will approve the formalization of IIITs at Agartala, Bhagalpur, Bhopal, Raichur, and Surat. The institutions will now be covered under the IIIT (PPP) Act, 2017.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने भारतीय माहिती तंत्रज्ञान कायद्याच्या (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक, 2020 ला मंजुरी दिली. विधेयक अगरतला, भागलपूर, भोपाळ, रायचूर आणि सूरत येथे आयआयआयटीच्या औपचारिकरणाला मंजुरी देईल. आता IIIT (PPP) अधिनियम, 2017 च्या अंतर्गत संस्थांचे संरक्षण केले जाईल.

7. E-commerce marketplace Flipkart is downing shutters on Jabong and the portal is now redirecting the users to the Myntra website.
