1.  The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is all set to issue new Rs 10 currency notes under the existing Mahatma Gandhi bank note series. The new note will bear the signature of the governor of the RBI, Dr Urjit Patel, and will feature a motif of the Konark Sun Temple, on the reverse side.
भारतीय रिझर्व बँक (आरबीआय) विद्यमान महात्मा गांधी बँकांच्या नोट्स मालिकेच्या अंतर्गत नवीन 10 रुपयांची नोट चलनात आणणार आहे. नवीन नोटेवर भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बॅंकेचे गव्हर्नर डॉ. उर्जित पटेल यांचे हस्ताक्षर असणार आहे, आणि परतीच्या बाजुला कोणार्क सन मंदिरची एक आकृती राहील.

2. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee unveiled the official emblem of the state government, which was recently approved by the center.
पश्चिम बंगालच्या मुख्यमंत्री ममता बॅनर्जी यांनी राज्य सरकारच्या अधिकृत प्रतीचे अनावरण केले, ज्याला केंद्राने नुकतीच मंजुरी दिली होती.

3. The managing director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Ravi Menon, has been named the best central bank governor in Asia-Pacific for 2018 by the UK-based magazine, The Banker.
मोनेटरी अथॉरिटी ऑफ सिंगापुरर (MAS) चे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक, रवी मेनन यांना 2018 साली एशिया पॅसिफिकमधील सर्वोत्तम मध्यवर्ती बँकेचा गव्हर्नर घोषित करण्यात आले आहे.

4. The World Book Fair started in New Delhi. Environment issues like climate change, global warming, and water pollution will be the main theme for this year’s Fair.
द वर्ल्ड बुक फेअरची सुरुवात नवी दिल्लीत झाली. या वर्षाच्या मेळाव्यासाठी हवामानातील बदल, ग्लोबल वॉर्मिंग आणि वॉटर प्रदूषण यासारख्या पर्यावरणविषयक समस्या मुख्य विषय असतील.

5. Iceland becomes the first country in the world to legalize equal pay between men and women.
आइसलँड पुरुष आणि स्त्रिया यांच्यातील समान वेतन कायद्याने वैध ठरवण्यासाठी जगातील पहिला देश ठरला.

6. Air India has tied up with UAE-based First Abu Dhabi Bank as well as Standard Chartered Bank and Mashreq Bank to avail short-term loans for acquiring three Boeing 777 aircraft.
एअर इंडियाने तीन बोईंग 777 विमानांची खरेदी करण्यासाठी, अल्पमुदतीच्या कर्जाचा लाभ घेण्यासाठी यूएईस्थित फर्स्ट अब्दू धाबी बँक आणि स्टँडर्ड चार्टर्ड बँक व मश्रेक बँक यांच्याशी करार केला आहे.

7.  Union Cabinet has approved the construction of Asia’s longest bi-directional Zojila Pass tunnel at an estimated cost of Rs 6,089 crore.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने 6,098 कोटी रुपयांच्या अंदाजपत्रकीय खर्चाच्या आशियातील सर्वात लांब द्वि-दिशात्मक झोजिला पास बोगद्याच्या बांधकामाला मंजुरी दिली आहे.

8. The Indian economy will expand by 6.5% in 2017-18, according to the new data of the government’s Central Statistics Office (CSO)
2017-18 मध्ये भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेत 6.5 टक्के वाढ होईल, असे केंद्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालयाच्या (सीएसओ) नवीन अहवालात म्हटले आहे.

9. Telangana Industrial Health Clinic Limited (TIHCL), a State government initiative, has got RBI clearance to register and function as a non-banking finance company (NBFC).
तेलंगाना इंडस्ट्रियल हेल्थ क्लिनिक लिमिटेड (टीआयएचसीएल), राज्य सरकारच्या पुढाकाराने, रिझर्व्ह बॅंकेची नोंदणी आणि नॉन-बँकिंग फायनान्स कंपनी (एनबीएफसी) म्हणून काम करण्याची मंजुरी मिळवली आहे.

10. Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Vasant Davkhare has passed away recently. He was 68.
वरिष्ठ राष्ट्रवादी कॉंग्रेस पार्टीचे नेते वसंत डावखरे यांचे नुकतेच निधन झाले. ते 68 वर्षांचे होते.
