| 2. The 29th Army to Army Staff Talks between India and the United States were held in Hawaii on 6 June 2026. | 4. In June 2026, India demonstrated the indigenous light tank Zorawar and TEJASTRA at Larsen & Toubro’s Hazira facility in Gujarat. | 5. The Central government on June 6, 2026 gave the nod to Chhattisgarh’s irrigation project under the Modernisation of Command Area Development and Water Management (M-CADWM) scheme. Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) on 27 May 2026, approved Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) to procure 511 MW of hydropower from the 600 MW Khorluchu Hydro Power Project in Bhutan. The project is a joint venture with Tata Power holding a 40% stake and Bhutan’s Druk Green Power Corporation holding a 60% stake. उत्तर प्रदेश विद्युत नियामक आयोगाने (UPERC) 27 मे 2026 रोजी, भूतानमधील 600 मेगावॅट क्षमतेच्या ‘खोरलुचू जलविद्युत प्रकल्पा’तून 511 मेगावॅट जलविद्युत खरेदी करण्यास उत्तर प्रदेश पॉवर कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेडला (UPPCL) मंजुरी दिली. हा प्रकल्प एक संयुक्त उपक्रम असून, यात टाटा पॉवरचा 40% आणि भूतानच्या ‘ड्रुक ग्रीन पॉवर कॉर्पोरेशन’चा 60०% हिस्सा आहे. |
| 7. India aims at achieving seafood exports of 30 billion by 2031 against the present export value of about 8.5 billion.
