2. Retirement fund body, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, (EPFO) lowered the interest rate on provident fund deposits to 8.5 per cent for the current financial year.
सेवानिवृत्ती फंड संस्था, कर्मचारी भविष्य निर्वाह निधी संस्था, (EPFO) ने चालू आर्थिक वर्षातील भविष्य निर्वाह निधी ठेवीवरील व्याज दर कमी करुन 8.5 टक्के केले आहे.

3. Reserve Bank of India deputy governor NS Vishwanathan has quit three months ahead of his retirement in June due to health reasons.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाचे डेप्युटी गव्हर्नर एन.एस. विश्वनाथन यांनी आरोग्याच्या कारणास्तव जून महिन्यात सेवानिवृत्तीपूर्वी तीन महिन्यांपूर्वी राजीनामा दिला आहे.

4. Mumbai is set to host the 2023 International Olympic Committee’s session after the IOC Executive Board recommended the Indian city for the annual conference.

6. The former Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Secretary Bimal Julka was sworn in as the next Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) on 5 March. The oath of office was administered by President Ram Nath Kovind.

8. Markets regulator Sebi has launched a mobile application for convenience of investors to lodge grievances in Sebi Complaints Redress System (SCORES).

9. Government has envisaged replacement of all the level crossings on National Highways by Road Over Bridges or Road Under Bridges under the Setu Bharatam scheme.
