1. World Health Day observed on 7th April. World Health Assembly decided to celebrate 7 April of each year as the World Health Day, with effect from 1950.
7 एप्रिलला जागतिक आरोग्य दिवस साजरा केला जातो. 1950 पासून जागतिक आरोग्य परिषदेने प्रत्येक वर्षी 7 एप्रिलला जागतिक आरोग्य दिवस म्हणून साजरा करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला.

2. The Indian Navy and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) inked an MoU to undertake joint research and development of advanced technologies for the Indian Navy.
भारतीय नौसेना आणि वैज्ञानिक आणि औद्योगिक संशोधन परिषदेने (सीएसआयआर) भारतीय नौसेनाकरिता आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाचे संयुक्त संशोधन आणि विकास करण्यासाठी सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

3. State-run NTPC has inked a term-loan agreement with Canara Bank to raise Rs 2,000 crore.

4. BSE and India International Exchange (India INX) have signed a memorandum of understanding with Moscow Exchange (MOEX).

6. Tata Steel has been named as the ‘Global Slag Company of the Year’ at the 14th Global Slag Conference and Exhibition 2019.

8. Karnataka Bank has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company to distribute the latter’s life insurance products. This is the third similar tie-up by the Bank after with PNB Metlife India Insurance Company Ltd and LIC, both of whom continue to provide insurance solutions to the customers of Karnataka Bank.

9. NASSCOM (National Association of Software and services companies), an IT industry body has appointed Keshav Murugesh, CEO of WNS Global Services Group as its Chairman for 2019-20. This appointment of the Nasscom Chairman and Vice Chairman is done by the Executive Council.

10. Justice T B N Radhakrishnan sworn-in as the new Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court. He was transferred from Telangana high court to Calcutta High court.
कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालयाचे नवीन मुख्य न्यायाधीश म्हणून न्यायाधीश टी. बी. राधाकृष्णन यांनी शपथ घेतली. त्यांना तेलंगाना उच्च न्यायालयातून कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालयात हस्तांतरित करण्यात आले.
