4. NTPC has taken the initiative of blending green hydrogen in the GGL (Gujarat Gas Limited) Piped Natural Gas (PNG) network at NTPC Kawas as part of its ongoing commitment to the environment.

5. Murli M Natarajan’s tenure as managing director and chief executive officer (MD & CEO) of DCB Bank has been re-appointed for another two years by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

6. For FY 2021-22, the exports of agricultural products, including plantation and marine products of India have touched a record USD 50 billion. This is a 20 per cent increase from last year.

7. The growth forecasts for the Pacific and East Asia have been lowered by the World Bank in its latest economic update. The forecasts have been lowered to 5 per cent from 5.4 per cent that was forecasted in October 2021.

8. India’s GDP growth has been forecasted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to 7.5 per cent in 2022-23 from 2021-22’s estimated 8.9 per cent.

9. Australia, Britain, and the United States will begin collaborating on increasing defence capacity and hypersonic missile strikes keeping in mind that their rivals China and Russia are advancing rapidly in cutting-edge defence technology.

10. The guidelines for the implementation of the Positive Pay System were issued by the RBI for the banks of the country. From 1st January 2021, this system has been implemented to safeguard banks against any cheque frauds.
