2. India contributed USD 5 million to the UN Palestine refugee agency and called for ensuring sustained financial support for the organisation’s work.
यूएन पॅलेस्टाईन शरणार्थी एजन्सीला भारताने 05 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सचे योगदान दिले आणि संस्थेच्या कार्यासाठी सातत्याने आर्थिक सहाय्य सुनिश्चित करण्याची मागणी केली.

3. The third edition of India’s largest education brainstorming event, the ScooNews Global Educators Fest (SGEF) will be held on August 09 and 10 in Udaipur- the City of Lakes.

4. Mastercard announced the launch of Identity Check Express, a next-generation, mobile-first authentication solution aims to redefine the e-commerce journey for Indian consumers.
मास्टरकार्डने भारतीय ग्राहकांसाठी ई-कॉमर्स प्रवासाची नव्या परिभाषा करण्याच्या उद्देशाने पुढची पिढी, मोबाइल-प्रथम प्रमाणीकरण समाधान आयडेंटिटी चेक एक्सप्रेस सुरू करण्याची घोषणा केली.

5. Centre approved the joint derivative project of India’s National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Singapore Exchange (SGX) for their international financial centre in GIFT City at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The project was proposed by NSE International Financial Service Centre (IFSC) and SGX Connect.
गुजरातच्या गांधीनगर येथील GIFT सिटीमधील आंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्तीय केंद्रासाठी भारताच्या राष्ट्रीय स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (NSE) आणि सिंगापूर एक्सचेंज (SGX) च्या संयुक्त व्युत्पन्न प्रकल्पाला केंद्राने मान्यता दिली. एनएसई आंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्तीय सेवा केंद्र (IFSC) आणि SGX कनेक्ट यांनी हा प्रकल्प प्रस्तावित केला होता.

6. President Ram Nath Kovind approved the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) (Amendment) Bill, 2019.
राष्ट्रपती राम नाथ कोविंद यांनी विमानतळांची आर्थिक नियामक प्राधिकरण (एईआरए) (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक, 2019 ला मंजुरी दिली.

7. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a 35 basis points (bps) cut to the benchmark repo rate on 7th August. The announcement was made after the RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das-led third bi-monthly policy review by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) for 2019-20.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (आरबीआय) 7 ऑगस्ट रोजी बेंचमार्क रेपो दरात 35 बेसिस पॉईंट (बीपीएस) कपात करण्याची घोषणा केली. आरबीआय गव्हर्नर शक्तीकांत दास यांच्या नेतृत्वात सन 2019-20 साठी चलनविषयक धोरण समितीने (एमपीसी) तिस third्या द्वि-मासिक धोरणाचा आढावा घेतल्यानंतर ही घोषणा केली.

8. The United States has designated China a “currency manipulator”, a move that could escalate the tense trade relations between the two nations.

10. Nobel laureate Toni Morrison, the renowned author of acclaimed novels such as “Beloved” and “Song of Solomon,” died at the age of 88.
“बिलवेड ” आणि “सॉन्ग ऑफ सॉलोमन” यासारख्या प्रख्यात कादंबर्‍या लिहणाऱ्या नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेते टोनी मॉरिसन यांचे  वयाच्या 88 व्या वर्षी निधन झाले.
