1. Global Positioning System (GPS) is one of few everyday technologies that have had the kind of revolutionary impact on civilian, military, scientific, and urban realms, redefining our sense of location and impacting diverse sectors globally.

8. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh unveiled the ‘National Circular Economy Roadmap for reduction of Plastic waste in India,’ a collaborative effort between leading research institutions in India and Australia.
केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंग यांनी भारत आणि ऑस्ट्रेलियातील आघाडीच्या संशोधन संस्थांमधील ‘भारतातील प्लास्टिक कचरा कमी करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय परिपत्रक अर्थव्यवस्था रोडमॅप’चे अनावरण केले.

9. The vibrant and culturally rich dance form, ‘Garba of Gujarat,’ has earned a prestigious place in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity by UNESCO. The recognition was formalized during the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage held from 5th to 9th December, 2023, in Kasane, Botswana.
‘गुजरातचा गरबा’ या दोलायमान आणि सांस्कृतिकदृष्ट्या समृद्ध नृत्यप्रकाराला युनेस्कोच्या मानवतेच्या अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक वारसा (ICH) च्या प्रतिनिधी सूचीमध्ये प्रतिष्ठित स्थान मिळाले आहे. 5 ते 9 डिसेंबर 2023 या कालावधीत बोत्सवाना, कसने येथे पार पडलेल्या अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक वारशाच्या सुरक्षेसाठीच्या आंतर-सरकारी समितीच्या 18 व्या बैठकीमध्ये ही मान्यता औपचारिकरित्या देण्यात आली.

10. The Department of Consumer Affairs is actively engaged in nationwide multimedia awareness campaigns titled “Jago Grahak Jago”. These campaigns aim to inform consumers about fraudulent practices and common issues while providing guidance on seeking redressal.
ग्राहक व्यवहार विभाग “जागो ग्राहक जागो” या देशव्यापी मल्टीमीडिया जागरूकता मोहिमांमध्ये सक्रियपणे गुंतलेला आहे. या मोहिमेचा उद्देश ग्राहकांना फसव्या पद्धती आणि सामान्य समस्यांबद्दल माहिती देणे आणि निवारणासाठी मार्गदर्शन करणे आहे.
