2. The Pune Metro Rail Project was opened by India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. During his 10-minute trip on the Pune Metro, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched the Pune Metro Rail Project and talked with differently-abled, visually impaired pupils present inside the metro carriage.

5. This financial year, India is set to export around 7 million tonnes of wheat. This would be one of the highest exports of wheat by India.

6. Wildlife Institute of India (WII) was entrusted to prepare a report on the increasing cases on man-animal conflict. In this regard WII released a preliminary report, which is based on the recent tiger census.
