| 3. The 28th Western Zonal Council meeting was held in Panaji, Goa, on 7 September 2026, under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. | 4. Indian Railroads is building India’s first hydrogen-powered trainset for regular operation at a target speed of 110 kmph. The Bhabha Atomic Research Center under the Department of Atomic Energy carried out a five-day site survey from September 04-08, 2026 in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for possible deployment of Small Modular Reactors. | 6. The Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Sarang Helicopter Display Team arrived in Egypt on 6 September 2026 for the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow. Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav on 6 September 2026 inaugurated a national workshop, “From Crisis to Recovery – Conserving India’s Vultures”, in Panchkula, Haryana.
