1. Dhanush, the first indigenous long-range artillery gun has been inducted into the Indian Army.

2. The government has sold enemy shares worth around Rs 1,150 crore in information technology firm Wipro Ltd. Apart from Life Insurance Corporation, General Insurance Corporation and The New India Assurance Corporation have bought the shares.
माहिती तंत्रज्ञान कंपनी विप्रो लिमिटेडमध्ये सरकारने 1,150 कोटी रुपयांचे शेअर्स विकले आहेत. लाइफ इन्शुरन्स कॉरपोरेशन व्यतिरिक्त, जनरल इंशुरन्स कॉर्पोरेशन आणि न्यू इंडिया ॲश्युरन्स कॉर्पोरेशनने समभाग खरेदी केले आहेत.

3. Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma has announced his new venture Revolt Intellicorp Pvt Ltd that will be making smart electric two-wheelers and connected devices.

4. Border guarding force Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) along with Sky Running Association of India organised the National Sky Running Championship at Mountaineering and Skiing Institute of ITBP at Auli in Uttarakhand.

6. SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) approved an ‘airport’ specific fund. The name of the fund is ‘Taking Off To the Future Airport Fund’. It can raise a capital amounting to 1.5$bn (Rs. 10,000 crores).
सेबी (सिक्युरिटीज अँड एक्सचेंज बोर्ड ऑफ इंडिया) ने ‘विमानतळ’ विशिष्ट फंड मंजूर केले. फंडाचे नाव ‘भविष्यातील विमानतळ निधीकडे नेणे’ आहे. हे 1.5 डॉलर बीएन (रु 10,000 कोटी) भांडवल उभारू शकते.

8. A new seller-funding programme named ‘Amazon Wings’  launched by Amazon India to help the small businesses and entrepreneurs to raise funds through the crowdfunding platform. Amazon India sellers can use the Ketto’s platform for a subsidized fee which is around 50 percent to initiate fundraisers

9. The UAE government has announced granting long-term visas for the top 100 start-ups shaping the fourth industrial revolution.

10. Virat Kohli overtake Suresh Raina to become the leading run-scorer in the Indian Premier League. Till date, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina are the only two players to score 5000 runs in the IPL. Both men got to the landmark this year.
