| 1. In August 2025, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) added two big things to its Retail Direct platform. The Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) for Treasury Bills (T-Bills) and an auto-bidding option are two examples. Both are meant to make it easier and more appealing for people to invest in government bonds. | 2. India has a huge problem with paying for its climate targets. The goal for the country is to have no net emissions by 2070. To do this, we need to invest between $10 and $12.5 trillion over the next 25 to 45 years. Also, climate adaption will cost around 2.5% of GDP per year until 2030.
