1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government has set a defence export target of 5 billion dollars in the next five years.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी म्हणाले की, पुढील पाच वर्षांत त्यांच्या सरकारने संरक्षण निर्यात 5 अब्ज डॉलर्सचे लक्ष्य ठेवले आहे.

2. United States President Donald Trump has confirmed that in a major counter terrorism operation in Yemen the US forces have killed al-Qaeda leader Qasim al-Rimi.
अमेरिकेचे अध्यक्ष डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प यांनी पुष्टी केली आहे की येमेनमधील दहशतवादविरोधी एका मोठ्या कारवाईत अमेरिकेच्या सैन्याने अल कायदाचा नेता कासिम अल-रिमीला ठार मारले आहे.

3. In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has decided to use drones for mapping villages.
मध्य प्रदेशात गावोगावी मॅपिंग करण्यासाठी राज्य सरकारने ड्रोन वापरण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.

4. World Bank chief economist Pinelopi Koujianou Goldberg on announced she will be leaving the institution.

5. State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a cut in retail fixed deposits (FD) rates. The rate cut will be effective from 10 February. The move by SBI is due to the surplus liquidity in the system.
स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (SBI) रिटेल फिक्स्ड डिपॉझिट (FD) दरात कपात करण्याची घोषणा केली आहे. दर कपात 10 फेब्रुवारीपासून लागू होईल. एसबीआयने केलेली ही कारवाई प्रणालीतील अतिरिक्त तरलतेमुळे झाली आहे.

6. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) approved the merger of the consumer mobile operations of the Tata group with Bharti Airtel. The final approval comes over two years after the companies had announced their plan to merge businesses.
दूरसंचार विभागाने टाटा समूहाच्या ग्राहकांच्या मोबाइल ऑपरेशनचे भारती एअरटेलमध्ये विलीनीकरण करण्यास मान्यता दिली. कंपन्यांनी आपला व्यवसाय विलीन करण्याच्या योजनेची घोषणा केल्यानंतर दोन वर्षांनंतर अंतिम मंजुरी मिळाली आहे.

8. The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) along with the Central government is to take up the upgradation and modernization of 25 fishing harbours in the country.
केंद्र सरकारसह सागरी उत्पादने निर्यात विकास प्राधिकरण (MPEDA) देशातील 25 मत्स्यपालनाचे हार्बरचे उन्नयन व आधुनिकीकरण करणार आहे.

9. Directorate General Quality Assurance (DGQA) conducted a seminar to spread awareness about the various Schemes of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to facilitate the domestic defence industry on 7 February 2020.

10. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) launched the India-Central Asia Business Council in partnership with five of the epic industry bodies of Central Asian countries namely Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चेंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स अँड इंडस्ट्री (FICCI) ने कझाकिस्तान, किर्गिझ प्रजासत्ताक, ताजिकिस्तान, तुर्कमेनिस्तान आणि उझबेकिस्तान या मध्य आशियाई देशांतील पाच महाकाव्य उद्योगांच्या भागीदारीत भारत-मध्य आशिया व्यवसाय परिषद सुरू केली.
