1. International Women’s Day is observed every year on March 8 to celebrate the women’s movement and struggle for equality.

2. The central government permitted airlines operating in India to provide in-flight Wi-Fi services to passengers.

3. Nokia’s Board of Directors has appointed Pekka Lundmark as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nokia.

4. Food delivery platform Zomato announced a strategic partnership with RBL Bank to launch “Edition Credit Cards” powered by Mastercard.

5. Fitch Solutions cut its forecast for India’s economic growth to 4.9 per cent in the current fiscal that ends March 31.
फिच सोल्युशन्सने 31 मार्च रोजी संपणाऱ्या चालू आर्थिक वर्षात भारताच्या आर्थिक वाढीचा अंदाज 4.9 टक्क्यांपर्यंत खाली आणला आहे.

6. Fourth International Diabetes Summit 2020 inaugurated at JW Marriot Hotel Pune. Lt Gen Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar (Deputy Chief of Integrated Defense Staff under the Chief of Defense Staff) was the Chief Guest, and Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan (Vice-Chairman, University Grants Commission, New Delhi) was the Guest of Honour.
