1. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has proposed an action plan aimed at significantly reducing emissions from the global cooling sector in its recent report titled “Keeping it Chill: How to meet cooling demands while cutting emissions.”
युनायटेड नेशन्स एन्व्हायर्न्मेंट प्रोग्राम (UNEP) ने “कीपिंग इट चिल: उत्सर्जन कमी करताना कूलिंगच्या मागण्या कशा पूर्ण करायच्या” या शीर्षकाच्या अलीकडील अहवालात जागतिक शीतकरण क्षेत्रातून उत्सर्जन लक्षणीयरीत्या कमी करण्याच्या उद्देशाने एक कृती योजना प्रस्तावित केली आहे.

2. Government of India has made a significant move in the Mining Sector by launching the first-ever auction of critical minerals, offering 20 blocks for sale to Private Sectors.

3. The Lok Sabha has passed the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2023.
लोकसभेने जम्मू आणि काश्मीर पुनर्रचना (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक, 2023 आणि जम्मू आणि काश्मीर आरक्षण (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक, 2023 मंजूर केले आहेत.

4. The United Nations(UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres invoked Article 99 of the UN Charter. This move was intended to warn the UN Security Council about the danger caused by Israel’s actions in Gaza. This step is meant to draw attention to the pressing need to prevent a major humanitarian disaster in the area.
संयुक्त राष्ट्र (UN) सरचिटणीस अँटोनियो गुटेरेस यांनी UN चार्टरच्या कलम 99 ला आवाहन केले. गाझामध्ये इस्रायलच्या कारवायांमुळे उद्भवलेल्या धोक्याबद्दल संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषदेला इशारा देण्यासाठी हे पाऊल उचलण्यात आले होते. हे पाऊल या क्षेत्रातील मोठी मानवतावादी आपत्ती टाळण्यासाठी आवश्यकतेकडे लक्ष वेधण्यासाठी आहे.

5. India has announced a USD 250 million line of credit to Kenya for modernisation of its agricultural sector during the recent visit of Kenya’s President to India. A line of credit (LOC) is a predetermined borrowing limit that is accessible whenever necessary. The borrower can withdraw funds as required until reaching the established limit, and once repaid, the funds can be borrowed again in the case of an open line of credit.
केनियाच्या राष्ट्रपतींच्या नुकत्याच झालेल्या भारत भेटीदरम्यान भारताने केनियाला कृषी क्षेत्राच्या आधुनिकीकरणासाठी USD 250 दशलक्ष कर्जाची घोषणा केली आहे. क्रेडिट लाइन (LOC) ही एक पूर्वनिर्धारित कर्ज घेण्याची मर्यादा आहे जी जेव्हा आवश्यक असेल तेव्हा उपलब्ध असते. कर्जदार प्रस्थापित मर्यादेपर्यंत पोहोचेपर्यंत आवश्यकतेनुसार निधी काढू शकतो आणि एकदा परतफेड केल्यावर, ओपन लाइन ऑफ क्रेडिटच्या बाबतीत निधी पुन्हा उधार घेतला जाऊ शकतो.

6. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced new regulations for undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) starting from 2024-25.
ऑल इंडिया कौन्सिल फॉर टेक्निकल एज्युकेशन (AICTE) ने 2024-25 पासून बॅचलर ऑफ बिझनेस अॅडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (BBA) आणि बॅचलर ऑफ कॉम्प्युटर ऍप्लिकेशन (BCA) सारख्या अंडरग्रेजुएट कोर्ससाठी नवीन नियम जाहीर केले आहेत.

7. Recently, a bill seeking to establish a Central Tribal University in Telangana was passed by the Lok Sabha. This legislation, meeting the obligations of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, earmarks ₹889.7 crore for the university.
नुकतेच तेलंगणात केंद्रीय आदिवासी विद्यापीठ स्थापन करण्याची मागणी करणारे विधेयक लोकसभेने मंजूर केले. हा कायदा, आंध्र प्रदेश पुनर्रचना कायदा, 2014 च्या दायित्वांची पूर्तता करून, विद्यापीठासाठी ₹889.7 कोटी राखून ठेवतो.
