1. World Post Day is celebrated every year on 9 October.It is the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union in 1874 in the Swiss Capital, Bern.
जागतिक पोस्ट दिन दरवर्षी 9 ऑक्टोबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो. स्विस राजधानी, बर्न येथे 1874 मध्ये युनिव्हर्सल पोस्टल युनियनच्या स्थापनेचा वर्धापन दिन आहे.

2. Astronomers have announced that they have discovered 20 more moons around Saturn, bringing its total number to 82.
खगोलशास्त्रज्ञांनी अशी घोषणा केली आहे की त्यांनी शनीच्या आसपास आणखी 20 चंद्र शोधले असून त्यांची एकूण संख्या 82 झाली आहे.

3. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh received the first of the 36 long-awaited Rafale fighter jets on behalf of the Indian Air Force (IAF). India had signed an agreement with France for the procurement of 36 Rafale fighter jets at a cost of Rs. 59,000 crore in September 2016.
संरक्षणमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी भारतीय वायुसेनेच्या (IAF) वतीने long 36 प्रलंबीत राफेल लढाऊ विमानांपैकी पहिले विमान प्राप्त केले आहे. भारताने फ्रान्सबरोबर 36 राफेल लढाऊ विमानांच्या खरेदीसाठी सप्टेंबर 2016 मध्ये 59,000 कोटी रुपयांच्या करार केला होता.

4. A three-day India International Cooperative Trade Fair will be held in New Delhi from 11th of this month.
या महिन्याच्या 11 तारखेपासून तीन दिवसीय भारत आंतरराष्ट्रीय सहकार व्यापार मेळावा नवी दिल्ली येथे होणार आहे.

5. The government set up a high-level inter-ministerial committee chaired by the revenue secretary, Ajay Bhushan Pandey for better coordination among various departments and law enforcement agencies to prevent money laundering activities
मनी लाँडरिंगच्या कामांना आळा घालण्यासाठी सरकारने विविध विभाग आणि कायदा अंमलबजावणी संस्था यांच्यात सुसूत्रता निर्माण करण्यासाठी महसूल सचिव अजय भूषण पांडे यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली एक उच्चस्तरीय आंतर-मंत्री समिती गठीत केली.

6. The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the inclusion of the 5,300 Displaced Persons (DP) Families of Jammu & Kashmir-1947. These 5,300 families initially opted to move outside the State of J&K but later on, returned and settled in the State of J&K.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने जम्मू आणि काश्मीर-1947 च्या 5300 विस्थापित व्यक्ती (DP) कुटुंबियांच्या समावेशास मान्यता दिली आहे. या 5300 कुटुंबांनी सुरुवातीला जम्मू-काश्मीर राज्याबाहेर जाण्याचा पर्याय निवडला पण नंतर ते परतले आणि जम्मू-काश्मीर राज्यात स्थायिक झाले.

7. Senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Ramesh Pandey has been selected for the prestigious Asia Environmental Enforcement Award for the year 2019.
सन 2019 च्या प्रतिष्ठित आशिया पर्यावरण प्रवर्तन पुरस्कारासाठी ज्येष्ठ भारतीय वन सेवा (IFS) अधिकारी रमेश पांडे यांची निवड झाली आहे.

8. Senior diplomat Anumula Gitesh Sarma is appointed as India’s next High Commissioner to Australia. The announcement was made by the Ministry of External Affairs.
ज्येष्ठ मुत्सद्दी अनुमुला गितेश सरमा यांची ऑस्ट्रेलियामध्ये भारताची पुढील उच्चायुक्त म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. परराष्ट्र व्यवहार मंत्रालयाने ही घोषणा केली.

9. Income Tax Department has launched a faceless e-Assessment scheme. The scheme was launched by Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey in New Delhi. Centre has chosen 2,686 officials of the I-T department for the implementation of the scheme.
प्राप्तिकर विभागाने एक फेसलेस ई-मूल्यांकन योजना सुरू केली आहे. महसूल सचिव अजय भूषण पांडे यांनी ही योजना नवी दिल्ली येथे सुरू केली. योजनेच्या अंमलबजावणीसाठी आय-टी विभागाच्या 2,686 अधिकाऱ्यांची निवड केंद्राने केली आहे.

10. Singapore topped the 2019 Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) and pushed the US to the second place. India ranked 68th on the GCI. The list is compiled by the Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF).
सिंगापूरने 2019 च्या ग्लोबल कॉम्पिटिटिव्हनेस इंडेक्समध्ये (GCI) अव्वल स्थान पटकावले आणि अमेरिकेला दुसर्‍या स्थानावर ढकलले. GCIमध्ये भारताचे स्थान 68 वे आहे. ही यादी जिनेव्हा-आधारित वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरम (WEF) यांनी संकलित केली आहे.
