1. The world observes Human Rights Day every year on the 10th of December.

2. Lok Sabha has passed the Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2019 after a marathon discussion and division.
मॅरेथॉन चर्चा आणि विभागणीनंतर लोकसभेने नागरिकत्व दुरुस्ती विधेयक 2019 मंजूर केले.

3. Country’s largest lender State Bank of India has announced the reduction in its marginal cost of fund based lending rate (MCLR) by 10 basis points across all one-year products.
देशातील सर्वात मोठी स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडियाने फंड बेस्ड लेन्डिंग रेट (MCLR) च्या सीमान्त किंमतीत सर्व एक वर्षाच्या उत्पादनांमध्ये 10 बेस पॉईंटने कपात करण्याची घोषणा केली आहे.

4. According to a report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) India climbed one spot to 129 among 189 countries in the 2019 human development index.
युनायटेड नेशन्स डेव्हलपमेंट प्रोग्राम (UNDP) च्या अहवालानुसार 2019 च्या मानव विकास निर्देशांकात भारत 189 देशांपैकी 129 स्थानांवर पोहोचला आहे.

5. Public Interest Director Girish Chandra Chaturvedi has been appointed as the new chairman of the leading stock exchange National Stock Exchange (NSE).
अग्रगण्य स्टॉक एक्सचेंज नॅशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (एनएसई) चे नवे अध्यक्ष म्हणून जनहित निर्देशक गिरीशचंद्र चतुर्वेदी यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

6. Malaysia reported the first polio case in 27 years. The health authorities reported that a three-month-old Malaysian infant has been diagnosed with polio. This is the first case reported in the Asia-Pacific country in 27 years.
मलेशियामध्ये 27 वर्षांत पोलिओची पहिली नोंद झाली. तीन महिन्यांच्या मलेशियन शिशुला पोलिओ झाल्याचे निदान आरोग्य अधिकाऱ्यांनी केले आहे. आशिया-पॅसिफिक देशात 27 वर्षांत घडलेली ही पहिली घटना आहे.

7. Abu Dhabi is selected as the world’s leading Sports tourism Destination for the seventh consecutive time. The decision was made at the 26th edition of the World Travel Awards (WTA) that is being held in Muscat, Oman.
अबू धाबीची सलग सातव्यांदा जगातील आघाडीच्या क्रीडा पर्यटन गंतव्य म्हणून निवड झाली. हा निर्णय ओमानमधील मस्कट येथे आयोजित जागतिक यात्रा पुरस्कार (WTA) च्या 26 व्या आवृत्तीत घेण्यात आला.

8. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) conducted a special service for foreign tourists on 9 December. 71 tourists from countries including the US, the UK, and France travelled by a special steam engine service from Coonoor to Ooty.
नीलगिरी माउंटन रेल्वे (NMR) ने 09 डिसेंबर रोजी परदेशी पर्यटकांसाठी विशेष सेवा चालविली. अमेरिका, ब्रिटन आणि फ्रान्स या देशांमधील पर्यटकांनी कूनूर ते ऊटी पर्यंत विशेष स्टीम इंजिन सेवेद्वारे प्रवास केला.

9. Union Government took several initiatives for the safety of women across the country.The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013 enacted for effective against sexual offenses.
केंद्र सरकारने देशभरातील महिलांच्या सुरक्षेसाठी कित्येक पुढाकार घेतल्या. लैंगिक गुन्ह्यांविरोधात फौजदारी कायदा (दुरुस्ती) कायदा 2013 लागू केला.

10. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) banned Russia for a four-year term from all major sporting events. The decision was made at Wada’s executive committee in a meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.
वर्ल्ड अँटी-डोपिंग एजन्सी (WADA) ने सर्व मोठ्या स्पोर्टिंग इव्हेंट्समधून रशियावर चार वर्षांच्या मुदतीसाठी बंदी घातली. स्वित्झर्लंडच्या लॉझने येथे झालेल्या बैठकीत वाडाच्या कार्यकारी समितीत हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला.
