1. Government e Marketplace (GeM) and Competition Commission of India (CCI) entered into a MoU to enable a fair and competitive environment in the e-Marketplace. Chairman CCI, A.K. Gupta, CEO GeM, S. Radha Chauhan were present on the occasion.
ई-मार्केटप्लेसमध्ये वाजवी आणि स्पर्धात्मक वातावरण सक्षम करण्यासाठी सरकार ई मार्केटप्लेस (जीईएम) आणि कॉम्पिटीशन कमिशन ऑफ इंडिया (सीसीआय) ने एमओयूमध्ये प्रवेश केला. अध्यक्ष सीसीआय, ए. के. गुप्ता, सीईओ जीईएम, एस. राधा चौहान यावेळी उपस्थित होते.
2. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reduced the policy repo rate by 25 basis points to 6.25% in a bid to revive economic growth as it projected retail inflation to remain below its target of 4% for the next 12 months
रिटेल चलनवाढीचा दर पुढील 12 महिन्यांत 4% च्या लक्ष्यापेक्षा कमी असल्याचा अंदाज असल्याने रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (आरबीआय) पॉलिसी रेपो रेट 25 बेसिस पॉईंट्सने 6.25% कमी केला आहे.
3. Father Francois Laborde, a 92-year-old priest, was conferred the Légion d’Honneur (Legion of Honour) of France.

4. Lok Sabha took up the Interim Budget 2019-20 for discussion. Initiating the discussion, Tathagata Satpathy of BJD accused the government of doing nothing for the farmer.
लोकसभेने चर्चासाठी अंतरिम अर्थसंकल्प 2019-20 घेतला आहे. चर्चेच्या सुरुवातीला BJDच्या तथागत सत्पथी यांनी सरकारवर शेतकऱ्यांसाठी काहीही न करण्याचा आरोप केला आहे.
5. On February 9,2019,Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu launched two schemes,the Hirkani Maharashtrachi and District Business Plan Competition in Mumbai.
