| 1. In 2025, the Union Ministry of Coal and Mines released new rules for how the Aspirational District Mineral Foundation (DMF) Program should work. The goal of these recommendations is to make sure that DMF projects are in line with the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) and the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP). | 2. The Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) put out their paper called “Global Landscape of Climate Finance 2025.” It shows that climate finance hit an all-time high of $1.9 trillion in 2023. This represents a 15% increase over the previous year. Even if this growth is happening, gaps and hazards could slow down progress on climate change. | 3. India is changing quickly, and by 2035, the urban population is predicted to reach 675 million, with 70 million more people moving to cities by 2045. This quick growth of cities will affect India’s economy and society for many years to come.
