1. The country’s foreign exchange reserves increased by USD 1.875 billion to USD 421.867 billion in the week ending May 31.
31 मे रोजी संपलेल्या आठवड्यात देशातील परकीय चलन भांडवलात 1.875 अब्ज डॉलर्स वाढून 421.867 अब्ज डॉलर्स झाली आहे.

2. The UAE Cabinet adopted the ‘National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031’ during its meeting at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.
संयुक्त अरब अमिरात मंत्रिमंडळाने अबुधाबीच्या राष्ट्रपती पदाच्या पॅलेसमध्ये झालेल्या बैठकीच्या वेळी ‘वेलनेसिंग 2031 साठी राष्ट्रीय धोरण’ स्वीकारले आहे.

3. Shri Narendra Modi is conferred with Maldives highest award ‘Nishan Izzuddin’ The main aim of the visit is to further cement ties with the Indian Ocean archipelago.

5. Union Cabinet has approved the Brucellosis control program, a new scheme, to control Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and Brucellosis to support the livestock rearing farmers and improve the health of animals.

7. Imports from Pakistan to India has declined by 92 per cent to 2.84 million US dollars in March this year.

10. Noted actor, dramatist and Jnanpith awardee Girish Karnad passed away in Bangalore due to multi-organ failure. He was 81.
बहु-अवयव अयशस्वी झाल्यामुळे सुप्रसिद्ध अभिनेता, नाटककार आणि ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार विजेते गिरीश कर्णड यांचे निधन झाले. ते 81 वर्षांचे होते.
