1. Prior to Chandrayaan-3, the South Pole region of the Moon had not been explored by any spacecraft. The prestigious John L. ‘Jack’ Swigert Jr. Award for Space Exploration has been bestowed upon the Chandrayaan-3 team in recognition of this revolutionary achievement in 2024.
चांद्रयान-३ च्या आधी, चंद्राच्या दक्षिण ध्रुव प्रदेशाचा शोध कोणत्याही अंतराळयानाने केला नव्हता. प्रतिष्ठित जॉन एल. ‘जॅक’ स्विगर्ट जूनियर. 2024 मधील या क्रांतिकारी कामगिरीची दखल घेऊन चांद्रयान-3 टीमला अवकाश संशोधनासाठी पुरस्कार प्रदान करण्यात आला आहे.

2. Regarding the right to privacy of election candidates, the Supreme Court of India rendered a landmark decision on April 9, 2024. Arunachal Pradesh MLA Karikho Kri filed the petition challenging a Gauhati High Court ruling that deemed his election null and void on the grounds that he failed to disclose three vehicles as assets in his affidavit. The ruling was rendered in response to the petition.
निवडणूक उमेदवारांच्या गोपनीयतेच्या अधिकाराबाबत, भारताच्या सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने 9 एप्रिल 2024 रोजी ऐतिहासिक निर्णय दिला. अरुणाचल प्रदेशचे आमदार कारिखो क्री यांनी गुवाहाटी उच्च न्यायालयाच्या निर्णयाला आव्हान देणारी याचिका दाखल केली ज्याने त्यांची निवडणूक रद्दबातल ठरवली. प्रतिज्ञापत्रात तीन वाहने मालमत्ता म्हणून उघड करण्यात अयशस्वी. याचिकेला उत्तर देताना हा निर्णय देण्यात आला.

3. The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) commenced its five-year survey in May 2021 with the objective of mapping the cosmos and investigating the properties of dark energy. The initial results of the DESI studies, which involved studying the light emitted by 6 million galaxies spanning up to 11 billion years in age, suggest the possibility of variations in the amount of dark energy. This poses a challenge to existing theoretical theories.
डार्क एनर्जी स्पेक्ट्रोस्कोपिक इन्स्ट्रुमेंट (DESI) ने मे 2021 मध्ये कॉसमॉसचे मॅपिंग आणि गडद उर्जेच्या गुणधर्मांची तपासणी करण्याच्या उद्देशाने पाच वर्षांचे सर्वेक्षण सुरू केले. DESI अभ्यासाचे प्रारंभिक परिणाम, ज्यामध्ये 11 अब्ज वर्षे वयापर्यंतच्या 6 दशलक्ष आकाशगंगांद्वारे उत्सर्जित केलेल्या प्रकाशाचा अभ्यास करणे समाविष्ट होते, गडद उर्जेच्या प्रमाणात फरक होण्याची शक्यता सूचित करतात. हे विद्यमान सैद्धांतिक सिद्धांतांना आव्हान देते.

4. India is strengthening its strategic relationships with important areas by deploying defence attaches in several nations, such as Ethiopia, Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Philippines, Armenia, and Poland. This decision is being made in response to increasing geopolitical rivalry and is a part of India’s bigger strategic strategy.
इथिओपिया, मोझांबिक, आयव्हरी कोस्ट, फिलीपिन्स, आर्मेनिया आणि पोलंड यांसारख्या अनेक राष्ट्रांमध्ये संरक्षण संलग्नक तैनात करून भारत महत्त्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रांशी आपले धोरणात्मक संबंध मजबूत करत आहे. वाढत्या भू-राजकीय प्रतिस्पर्ध्याला प्रत्युत्तर म्हणून हा निर्णय घेतला जात आहे आणि भारताच्या मोठ्या सामरिक रणनीतीचा एक भाग आहे.

5. Justice Aniruddha Bose, renowned for his exceptional intelligence and stylish attire, concluded his service at the Supreme Court following a five-year term. Justice Bose has been nominated to lead the National Judicial Academy in Bhopal, receiving praise from Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud and other esteemed legal professionals for his fair judgement, empathy, and courteous behaviour.

6. The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has recently published a report titled “Global Trade Outlook and Statistics,” which highlights India’s emergence as the fourth largest exporter of digitally delivered services. Over one-fifth of international services trade is now accounted for by the nation. It was projected that India would export digitally delivered services worth $257 billion in 2023, an increase of 17% over the previous year.
वर्ल्ड ट्रेड ऑर्गनायझेशन (WTO) ने अलीकडेच “ग्लोबल ट्रेड आउटलुक अँड स्टॅटिस्टिक्स” नावाचा अहवाल प्रकाशित केला आहे, ज्यामध्ये डिजिटली वितरित सेवांचा चौथा सर्वात मोठा निर्यातदार म्हणून भारताचा उदय अधोरेखित करण्यात आला आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय सेवा व्यापाराच्या एक पंचमांश पेक्षा जास्त आता राष्ट्राचा वाटा आहे. असा अंदाज होता की भारत 2023 मध्ये $257 अब्ज किमतीच्या डिजिटली वितरित सेवांची निर्यात करेल, जी मागील वर्षाच्या तुलनेत 17% वाढली आहे.
