1. In a groundbreaking move aimed at enhancing the efficiency of capital market operations, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced significant changes that mark a new phase for public issues.

4. The Union Ministry of Defense has announced its plan to implement an indigenous and secure operating system called “Maya OS.” This OS will replace the current operating system, ‘Microsoft Windows,’ in use.

5. As per information from two officials familiar with the recent assessment prepared for submission to the United Nations, India’s greenhouse gas emissions rate has witnessed a faster-than-anticipated decline of 33% over a span of 14 years.
संयुक्त राष्ट्रांना सादर करण्यासाठी तयार केलेल्या अलीकडील मूल्यांकनाशी परिचित असलेल्या दोन अधिकार्‍यांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, भारताच्या हरितगृह वायू उत्सर्जनाच्या दरात 14 वर्षांच्या कालावधीत अपेक्षेपेक्षा 33% ची जलद घट झाली आहे.

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has been honored with the Asia’s Best Brand Employer Award 2023 in the category ‘Organisation with Innovative HR Practices.’ This recognition was announced at the 14th edition of the 18th Brand Congress and is set to be presented on August 17 in Singapore.

7. For a bilateral exercise ‘Zayed Talwar 2023’ with the UAE NavyTwo Indian Navy ships, namely INS Visakhapatnam and INS Trikand, have reached Port Rashid in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
UAE नौदलासोबत ‘झायेद तलवार 2023’ या द्विपक्षीय सरावासाठी INS विशाखापट्टणम आणि INS त्रिकंद ही भारतीय नौदलाची दोन जहाजे संयुक्त अरब अमिरातीच्या दुबई येथील पोर्ट रशीद येथे पोहोचली आहेत.

8. As per the August 2023 Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Monetary Policy announcement, the RBI’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has unanimously opted to maintain the repo rate at 6.5 percent.
ऑगस्ट 2023 च्या रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया (RBI) च्या आर्थिक धोरणाच्या घोषणेनुसार, RBI च्या चलनविषयक धोरण समितीने (MPC) एकमताने रेपो दर 6.5 टक्के राखण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.
