| 1. The quick rise in the use of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in India has changed how people pay online. UPI transactions reached ₹260 lakh crore a year by 2025, making up 28% of all retail payments. But this increase has made things harder for tax officials and small businesses. Small traders protested when the Karnataka Commercial Taxes Department used UPI data to find people who weren’t paying their taxes. भारतात युनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) च्या वापरात झपाट्याने वाढ झाल्यामुळे लोक ऑनलाइन पेमेंट करण्याच्या पद्धतीत बदल झाला आहे. २०२५ पर्यंत UPI व्यवहार दरवर्षी ₹२६० लाख कोटींवर पोहोचले, जे सर्व किरकोळ पेमेंटच्या २८% होते. परंतु या वाढीमुळे कर अधिकारी आणि लहान व्यवसायांसाठी गोष्टी कठीण झाल्या आहेत. कर्नाटक व्यावसायिक कर विभागाने कर न भरणाऱ्या लोकांना शोधण्यासाठी UPI डेटा वापरला तेव्हा लहान व्यापाऱ्यांनी निषेध केला. या परिस्थितीवरून असे दिसून येते की डिजिटायझेशन, मोकळेपणा आणि लहान कंपन्यांच्या गरजांमध्ये योग्य संतुलन शोधणे किती कठीण आहे. |

| 3. DSP Mutual Fund has a new fund called the DSP Nifty500 Flexicap Quality 30 Index Fund. This is India’s first low-cost flexicap approach that combines picking good stocks with adjusting the size of the market. | 4. The FAO Food Price Index (FFPI) rose to 130.1 points in July 2025. The prices of meat and vegetable oils went up over the world, which is why this 1.6 percent rise happened. Even though it has gone up every month since then, the index is still 18.8% lower than it was at its highest point in March 2022. But it’s 7.6% greater than it was in July 2024. जुलै २०२५ मध्ये FAO अन्न किंमत निर्देशांक (FFPI) १३०.१ अंकांवर पोहोचला. जगभरात मांस आणि वनस्पती तेलांच्या किमती वाढल्या, म्हणूनच ही १.६ टक्के वाढ झाली. तेव्हापासून दर महिन्याला ती वाढत असली तरी, मार्च २०२२ मध्ये तो सर्वोच्च बिंदूपेक्षा १८.८% कमी आहे. परंतु जुलै २०२४ पेक्षा तो ७.६% जास्त आहे. |

| 6. General Anil Chauhan, India’s Chief of Defence Staff, officially announced the Joint Doctrines for Cyberspace Operations and Amphibious Operations. This step makes things more open and helps more people grasp how integrated war-fighting ideas work. These doctrines give the Indian Armed Forces a single set of rules to follow so that they can work together across many areas.
