1. Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired the 26th Eastern Zonal Meeting in Patna.The Zonal Councils are an important platform to resolve bilateral, multilateral and regional issues through dialogue among member states.
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली पाटणा येथे २६ व्या पूर्व विभागीय बैठक झाली. सदस्य राष्ट्रांमधील संवादाद्वारे द्विपक्षीय, बहुपक्षीय आणि प्रादेशिक समस्यांचे निराकरण करण्यासाठी विभागीय परिषद हे एक महत्त्वाचे व्यासपीठ आहे.

केंद्रीय मंत्री पियुष गोयल आणि पूनम महाजन यांनी संयुक्तपणे मुंबईत ‘एक भारत सारी वॉकथॉन’ला हिरवा झेंडा दाखवला. भारतातील हातमाग साडी संस्कृतीला चालना देण्यासाठी वस्त्रोद्योग मंत्रालयाने आयोजित केलेल्या या कार्यक्रमात देशभरातील महिलांना साडी परिधान करण्याच्या पद्धतींचे प्रदर्शन करण्यासाठी आमंत्रित करून भारताला “विविधतेतील एकतेचा देश” म्हणून सादर केले.

3. The Indian Army conducted the Army Veteran’s Half Marathon, Honour Run in New Delhi to commemorate the historic military victory in the Kargil War. The event was flagged off by Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Pande.

4. Thailand and Myanmar will set up a task force to boost humanitarian assistance to people displaced by fighting between the Junta army and rebel groups. The decision was taken during discussions between Myanmar and Thailand’s foreign ministers at a meeting in China.

5. The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism has proposed issuing free entry visas to travelers from 20 countries including India. The 20 countries include Australia, China, India, South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, among others.

6. A recent analysis by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) has revealed that less than eight percent of India’s coal-based power plants have adopted the recommended technology to control sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions.

7. A new United Nations report, “State of Finance for Nature,” reveals that countries invest nearly $7 trillion annually in subsidies and private investments with direct negative impacts on nature. This staggering figure accounts for 7% of the global gross domestic product, highlighting the urgent need for a shift in financial practices.

8. The Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) organized the formal launch of the National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2024 web portal on 8th December, 2023. The ceremony, held in hybrid mode, was attended by Central Ministries/Departments, Principal Secretaries (AR) and (IT), and DCs/DMs from all 28 States and 8 UTs of India, along with the Award Winners of NAeG 2023.
प्रशासकीय सुधारणा आणि सार्वजनिक तक्रार विभाग (DARPG) ने 8 डिसेंबर 2023 रोजी राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार ई-गव्हर्नन्स (NAeG) 2024 वेब पोर्टलचे औपचारिक प्रक्षेपण आयोजित केले. हायब्रीड पद्धतीने आयोजित या समारंभात केंद्रीय मंत्रालये/विभाग उपस्थित होते. , NAeG 2023 च्या पुरस्कार विजेत्यांसह भारतातील सर्व 28 राज्ये आणि 8 केंद्रशासित प्रदेशातील प्रधान सचिव (AR) आणि (IT), आणि DCs/DMs.

9. Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of the Government of India, and the current President of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), is set to host the 27th World Investment Conference (WIC) from December 11-14, 2023. The conference will take place at the India International Convention & Expo Centre – Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, under the theme “Empowering Investors: IPAs Pioneering Future Growth.”

10. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to launch the ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ initiative on December 11, 2023 via video conferencing. This visionary initiative aims to actively engage the youth of India in shaping the nation’s plans, priorities, and goals. The launch will include an address to Vice Chancellors of Universities, Heads of Institutes, and faculty members participating in workshops organized at Raj Bhawans across the country.
