1.  National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) appointed Biswamohan Mahapatra as non-executive chairman for two years.
नॅशनल पेमेंट्स कॉपोर्रेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एनपीसीआय) ने दोन वर्षांकरिता बिस्वामोहन महापात्रांना  नॉन-एक्झिक्युटिव्ह अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्त केले.

2. The central government has approved the construction of over 1.86 lakh more houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) scheme, taking the total number of affordable houses sanctioned to over 39.25 lakhs.
प्रधान मंत्री आवास योजनेअंतर्गत केंद्र शासनाने 1.86 लाखांपेक्षा जास्त घरांचे बांधकाम मंजूर केले आहे.

3. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated a Request For Proposal (RFP) to implement ‘Pay as You Use’ tolling on the Delhi-Mumbai Highway, for which bids are expected to be submitted by February 26.
राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाने (एनएचएआय) दिल्ली-मुंबई महामार्गावरील टोलिंगसाठी ‘पे जस्ट यू टू यूज’ लागू करण्याच्या प्रस्तावासाठी विनंती (आरएफपी) तयार केली आहे ज्यासाठी 26 फेब्रुवारीपर्यंत बोली सादर करण्याची अपेक्षा आहे.

4. Rakesh Singh appointed private banking head at HDFC Bank.
एचडीएफसी बँकेतील खाजगी बँकिंग प्रमुख म्हणून राकेश सिंग यांची नियुक्त करण्यात आली आहे.

5. Eminent Odia author and poet Chandrasekhar Rath passed away at the age of 89. He was nominated for a Padma Shri this year for his contribution in Odia literature.
प्रसिद्ध ओडिया लेखक आणि कवी चंद्रशेखर राठ यांचे वयाच्या 89व्या वर्षी  निधन झाले. ओडिया साहित्यातील त्यांच्या योगदानाबद्दल त्यांना या वर्षी पद्मश्रीसाठी नामांकन मिळाले होते.
