1. The manufacturing of the country’s first indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant is currently under phase three. It is likely to be commissioned by early 2021.
देशातील पहिले स्वदेशी विमानवाहू जहाज विक्रांतचे उत्पादन सध्या तीन टप्प्यात आहे. ते  2021 च्या सुरूवातीस सुरू होण्याची शक्यता आहे.

2. State-owned Housing and Urban Development Corporation (Hudco) said that M Nagaraj has been appointed the company’s Chairman and Managing Director.
राज्य सरकारच्या गृहनिर्माण व शहरी विकास महामंडळाने (Hudco) सांगितले की एम नागराज यांना कंपनीचे अध्यक्ष व व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक म्हणून नियुक्त करण्यात आले आहे.

3. Apparel Export Promotion Council of India (AEPC) said it has appointed A Sakthivel as the new chairman of the organisation.

4. The International Energy Agency (IEA) along with the country’s policy think tank NITI Aayog released the first in-depth review of India’s energy policies on 10 January 2020.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजन्सी (आयईए) आणि देशाच्या धोरणात्मक थिंक टँक नीति आयोगाने 10 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी भारताच्या ऊर्जा धोरणांचा सखोल आढावा जाहीर केला.

7. The SBI lowered the economic growth forecast to 4.6% from the earlier 5%.
एसबीआयने आर्थिक वाढीचा अंदाज पूर्वीच्या 5 टक्क्यांवरून 4.6% पर्यंत खाली आणला.

8. Eurasia Group reported that India is one of the world’s top geopolitical risks for 2020. The political risk consultancy India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was listed as the fifth biggest geopolitical risk of 2020.
यूरेशिया समूहाने दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार, 2020 मध्ये भारत हा जगातील अव्वल भौगोलिक राजनैतिक जोखमींपैकी एक आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वात राजकीय जोखीम सल्लागार भारत हा 2020 मधील पाचवा सर्वात मोठा भौगोलिक राजकीय जोखीम म्हणून सूचीबद्ध करण्यात आला आहे.

9. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched the Aadhaar-based Video Customer Identification Process (V-CIP) on 9 January 2020.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (आरबीआय) 9 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी आधार-आधारित व्हिडिओ ग्राहक ओळख प्रक्रिया (V-CIP) सुरू केली.

10. The World Bank estimated a 5% growth rate in fiscal 2019-2020 for India. The World Bank’s update is in line with the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) October policy estimate in which it slashed the Indian economy’s expected growth to 5% for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
जागतिक बँकेने 2019-2020 च्या आर्थिक वर्षात भारतासाठी 5% विकास दराचा अंदाज लावला आहे. रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाच्या (RBI) ऑक्टोबरच्या पॉलिसीच्या अंदाजानुसार जागतिक बँकेचे अद्ययावत रुपरेषा आहे ज्यात त्यांनी 2019-2020 या आर्थिक वर्षात भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेची अपेक्षित वाढ 5% टक्क्यांपर्यंत खाली आणली आहे.
