1. Government-issued industrial licenses to 15 companies to manufacture Bullet Proof Jackets (BPJs) on 11 March. The announcement was made by Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh.
11 मार्च रोजी बुलेट प्रूफ जॅकेट्स (बीपीजे) तयार करण्यासाठी सरकारने 15 कंपन्यांना औद्योगिक परवाने दिले. संरक्षणमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी ही घोषणा केली.

2. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has instituted a special ‘Shakti Award.’ It will be annually presented to chosen personnel who works for the empowerment of women.
केंद्रीय राखीव पोलिस दल (सीआरपीएफ) ने एक विशेष ‘शक्ती पुरस्कार’ सुरू केला आहे. महिला सक्षमीकरणासाठी काम करणार्‍या निवडक कर्मचार्‍यांना हे दरवर्षी सादर केला जाईल.

3. Centre approved the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to construct the first phase of a new highway at a distance of almost 170km. The highway will connect east Delhi’s Akshardham to Uttarakhand’s Dehradun.
केंद्राने भारतीय राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरण (NHAI) ला जवळपास 170कि.मी. अंतरावर नवीन महामार्गाच्या पहिल्या टप्प्याचे बांधकाम करण्यास मान्यता दिली. हा हायवे पूर्व दिल्लीच्या अक्षरधामला उत्तराखंडच्या देहरादूनला जोडेल.

4. India retains its position as the second-largest arms importer in the world followed by Saudi Arabia, says a new report by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

5. India has, for the first time, used the Lopinavir/ Ritonavir combination, usually a second line HIV medication, in the treatment of two Italian patients who tested positive for COVID-19 in Jaipur.
जयपूरमध्ये कोविड-19 चा सकारात्मक चाचणी घेणार्‍या दोन इटालियन रूग्णांच्या उपचारात भारताने पहिल्यांदाच लोपीनावीर / रिटनावीर संयोजन, सहसा दुसर्‍या ओळीच्या एचआयव्ही औषधाचा वापर केला.

6. To sensitise people about coronavirus, Punjab government has launched ‘Cova Punjab’ mobile application.
कोरोनाव्हायरसबद्दल लोकांना संवेदनशील करण्यासाठी पंजाब सरकारने ‘कोवा पंजाब’ मोबाइल ऍप्लिकेशन लॉन्च केले आहे.

7. Moody’s Investors Service said G-20 countries are expected to grow by 2.1 per cent in 2020.
मूडीज इन्व्हेस्टर्स सर्व्हिसने सांगितले की 2020 मध्ये जी -20 देशांची वाढ 2.1 टक्क्यांनी होईल.
