1. The International Day of Neutrality, observed annually on 12th December, holds paramount significance in promoting global peace, sovereignty, and the resolution of conflicts through diplomatic means.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय तटस्थता दिवस, दरवर्षी 12 डिसेंबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो, जागतिक शांतता, सार्वभौमत्व आणि मुत्सद्दी मार्गांद्वारे संघर्षांचे निराकरण करण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी अत्यंत महत्त्व आहे.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी नवी दिल्लीतील भारत मंडपम येथे कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (GPAI) शिखर परिषदेचे ग्लोबल पार्टनरशिपचे उद्घाटन करतील.

3. Members of the Polish Parliament backed Donald Tusk to become Poland’s Prime Minister after current leader Mateusz Morawiecki lost a confidence vote in the country’s Parliament. According to media reports, the vote was 248 in favour and 201 against.
देशाच्या संसदेत विद्यमान नेते मातेउझ मोराविकी यांनी विश्वासदर्शक ठराव गमावल्यानंतर पोलंडचे पंतप्रधान होण्यासाठी पोलिश संसदेच्या सदस्यांनी डोनाल्ड टस्क यांना पाठिंबा दिला. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्सनुसार, बाजूने 248 आणि विरोधात 201 मते पडली.

4. The Government has said that 58 Airports in the country have been covered under the Krishi Udan Scheme.The Scheme was launched in 2020 on international and national routes to assist farmers in transporting agricultural products to help improve their value realization.
सरकारने म्हटले आहे की, देशातील ५८ विमानतळांना कृषी उडान योजनेंतर्गत समाविष्ट करण्यात आले आहे. ही योजना 2020 मध्ये आंतरराष्ट्रीय आणि राष्ट्रीय मार्गांवर शेतकऱ्यांना कृषी उत्पादनांच्या वाहतुकीत मदत करण्यासाठी सुरू करण्यात आली होती.

5. Meghalaya’s Lakadong turmeric has been awarded the Geographical Indication (GI) tag. It is considered to be one of the world’s best varieties of turmeric, with a curcumin content of around 6.8 to 7.5%.
मेघालयातील लकाडोंग हळदीला भौगोलिक संकेत (GI) टॅग देण्यात आला आहे. हळदीच्या जगातील सर्वोत्कृष्ट जातींपैकी एक मानली जाते, ज्यामध्ये कर्क्यूमिनचे प्रमाण 6.8 ते 7.5% असते.

6. The Government today said that eShram cards have been issued to over 29 crore unorganized workers registered on the eShram portal.
The eShram portal was launched in 2021 for registration of unorganized workers.
सरकारने आज सांगितले की ईश्रम पोर्टलवर नोंदणीकृत 29 कोटींहून अधिक असंघटित कामगारांना ईश्रम कार्ड जारी करण्यात आले आहेत. असंघटित कामगारांच्या नोंदणीसाठी 2021 मध्ये ईश्रम पोर्टल सुरू करण्यात आले.

7. NTPC has been declared as the winner at the Brandon Hall Group’s Excellence in Technology Awards 2023 in an online broadcast held.
The company received the coveted silver awards in two distinct categories: “Best Advance in Corporate Wellbeing Technology” and “Best Advance in Augmented and Virtual Reality.”

8. Bank of India has launched Nari Shakti Savings Account, aimed at catering to women aged 18 and above with an independent source of income. This account offers benefits and features designed to empower women financially and promote their well-being.

9. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) released its Southeast Asia Opium Survey 2023. The report states that Myanmar is the world’s biggest opium producer.

10. The Natural History Museum of London has revealed the discovery of the oldest disease-causing fungus, named Potteromyces asteroxylicola, dating back 407 million years. The fungus, found in fossil samples from the Rhynie Chert in Scotland, is significant for its role in plant disease during the Early Devonian period.
