| 1. On February 27, 2026, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will hold Exercise Vayushakti-26 at the Pokhran Air-to-Ground Range in Jaisalmer. The big firepower demonstration will show that the IAF is ready to be the country’s first, fastest, and strongest responder. The goal of the exercise is to show that the military can respond quickly, strike accurately, and control all types of aerial warfare.Vayushakti is one of the IAF’s most important operational displays because it shows how the IAF can turn tactical actions into strategic outcomes in high-pressure situations. | 2. According to government data given to Parliament, the number of Indian students going abroad for higher education has dropped sharply in the last three years. The Ministry of Education’s numbers show a steady drop from 2023 to 2025, which is a big change in the number of students leaving the country. | 3. On February 12, 2026, the National Productivity Council (NPC) will celebrate its 68th Foundation Day and National Productivity Week across India from February 12 to 18. The theme for this year is “Clusters as Growth Engine: Maximizing Productivity in MSMEs.” This shows how important cluster-based development is for making India’s industries more competitive. | 4. The World’s Largest Grain Storage Plan in the Cooperative Sector (WLGSP) has chosen Balaghat district in Madhya Pradesh to be the pilot district. A 500 metric tonne (MT) godown was built at the Bahudeshiya Prathamik Krishi Saakh Sahakari Society Maryadit in Parswada as part of the pilot. | 5. The Center has started “White Revolution 2.0,” a cooperative-led project to improve women’s rights, get more milk, and cover more dairy farms. | 7. WWF India is making Goa’s first biodiversity and cultural features map. It will be a kid-friendly visual guide to 48 common species and traditional art forms in the state. The map will be given out for free to schools all over Goa in both print and digital formats at the Goa Art and Literature Festival.The goal of the project is to raise schoolchildren’s awareness of the environment, and it is being done at the same time as conservationists are working on a big wildlife mapping project in the state.
