1. Indian Haj mission in Saudi Arabia has adopted digital technology to reach out to a large number of pilgrims as part of the Government of India’s initiative of Digital India.
भारत सरकारच्या डिजिटल उपक्रमाचा भाग म्हणून सौदी अरेबियातील भारतीय हज मिशनने मोठ्या संख्येने यात्रेकरूंना पोहोचण्यासाठी डिजिटल तंत्रज्ञान स्वीकारले आहे.

2. Senior diplomat Vikas Swarup has been appointed as Secretary, (consular, passport, visa and Overseas Indian affairs) in the External Affairs Ministry.
परराष्ट्र व्यवहार मंत्रालयामध्ये वरिष्ठ राजनयिक विकास स्वरूप यांना सचिव (कॉन्सुलर, पासपोर्ट, व्हिसा आणि परराष्ट्र व्यवहार) म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे.

3. The central government appointed M Nageswar Rao, Additional Director of CBI as the Director General of Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guard.
केंद्र सरकारने सीबीआयचे अतिरिक्त संचालक एम नागेश्वर राव यांना अग्निशमन सेवा, नागरी संरक्षण व होम गार्ड चे महासंचालक म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे.

4. India Film Divisions launched ‘KSHITIJ’, a documentary film club in Mumbai. An acclaimed documentary film “Secret Life of Frogs” by Ajay and Vijay Bedi will be screened as the inaugural film.

5. The first Global Conference on Media Freedom took place in London.The UK government has committed 18 million pounds towards improving media freedom across the world.
लंडनमध्ये मीडिया फ्रीडमवरील प्रथम जागतिक परिषद आयोजित करण्यात आली. जगभरातील प्रसारमाध्यमांच्या स्वातंत्र्यासाठी यूके सरकारने 18 दशलक्ष पौंड दिले आहेत.

6. Airtel Africa has been listed as the third-largest stock on the bourse by market value. On 9 June, Nigerian Stock Exchange reported that the Airtel Africa has a 1.36 trillion naira ($4.4 bn) flotation.
बाजारातील किंमतीनुसार एअरटेल आफ्रिकेला तिस-या क्रमांकाचे सर्वात मोठे स्टॉक म्हणून सूचीबद्ध केले गेले आहे. 9 जून रोजी, नायजेरियन स्टॉक एक्सचेंजने नोंदविले की एअरटेल आफ्रिकेकडे 1.36 ट्रिलियन नायरा ($ 4.4 अब्ज) फ्लोटेशन आहे.

7. Pune based National Film Archive of India (NFAI) acquired rare footage of the 1948 Marathi film ‘Vande Mataram’ The legendary writer and playwright P.L. Deshpande played a major role along with his wife Sunita Deshpande.

8. South Korean tech giant Samsung announced its partnership with Paisabazaar.com, an online marketplace for financial products in India.

10. Indian weightlifter Ajay Singh has won Gold in 81 kg category at the Commonwealth Championships in Apia, city of Samoa.
भारतीय वेटलिफ्टर अजय सिंह यांनी समोआ शहरातील अपिया येथे कॉमनवेल्थ चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये 81 किलोग्रॅममध्ये सुवर्ण जिंकले.
