| 2. In 11 districts, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) placed para-police forces at border frontiers under an integrated border management mechanism with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). | 6. India and Nepal on 6 June 2026 launched a cross-border peer-to-peer remittance link with the integration of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) with Nepal’s National Payments Interface (NPI). | 8. India’s Gross Domestic Product growth is projected at 6.6% for the fiscal year 2026-27 by the World Bank in its Global Economic Prospects report released on June 11, 2026.
