2. Mumbai born, Dr Tahera Qutbuddin, a professor of Arabic Literature at the University of Chicago, lately grew to be the first character of Indian-origin to win the 15th Sheikh Zayed Book Award.

3. An advisory committee has been formed to assist the RBI’s second Regulatory Review Authority (RRA), which was established to streamline regulations and reduce the enforcement burden on controlled entities.

6. The Indian Army has set up a ‘COVID management cell’ to ensure better coordination in extending support to civil authorities across the country to deal with surging cases of coronavirus infections.

7. J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha approved release of additional Rs 250 crore as interest subvention under economic package for revival of business and industry in the Union Territory
जम्मू-काश्मीरचे लेफ्टनंट गव्हर्नर मनोज सिन्हा यांनी केंद्रशासित प्रदेशात व्यवसाय आणि उद्योगाच्या पुनरुज्जीवनासाठी आर्थिक पॅकेजअंतर्गत आणखी 250 कोटी रुपये व्याज सबक म्हणून जाहीर करण्यास मंजुरी दिली.

8. The Union Cabinet recently approved the Production Linked Incentive scheme for Advanced Chemistry Cell Battery Storage. Around Rs 18,100 crores have been allocated to the scheme.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने नुकतीच प्रगत रसायनशास्त्र सेल बॅटरी संचयनाच्या प्रॉडक्शन लिंक्ड प्रोत्साहन योजनेला मान्यता दिली. सुमारे 18,100 कोटी रुपये या योजनेस देण्यात आले आहेत.

10. Several United Nations agencies have delivered nearly 10,000 oxygen concentrators and about 10 million medical masks to India to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या अनेक संस्थांनी कोविड-19 साथीचा सामना करण्यासाठी सुमारे 10,000 ऑक्सिजन केंद्रे आणि सुमारे 10 दशलक्ष वैद्यकीय मास्क भारतात पाठवले आहेत.
