The Supreme Court of India on 11 May 2026 ruled that caste-based abuses committed inside a private residence and outside public view do not come under the purview of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. भारताच्या सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने 11 मे 2026 रोजी असा निर्णय दिला की, खाजगी निवासस्थानाच्या आत आणि लोकांच्या नजरेआड (सार्वजनिक दृश्याबाहेर) केलेले जाती-आधारित शिवीगाळ किंवा अपशब्द हे ‘अनुसूचित जाती आणि अनुसूचित जमाती (अत्याचार प्रतिबंधक) कायदा, 1989’ च्या कक्षेत येत नाहीत. न्यायमूर्ती प्रशांत कुमार मिश्रा आणि न्यायमूर्ती एन.व्ही. अंजारिया यांच्या खंडपीठाने या कायद्याच्या कलम 3(1)(r) आणि 3(1)(s) अंतर्गत असलेल्या “सार्वजनिक दृश्याच्या कक्षेत” (within public view) या अटीचा विचार केला. |

| 4. The Government of India has notified the 1% cess on total cost of construction incurred by employers for building and other construction works under the Code on Social Security, 2020. | 7. No Electricity And Sustainable Cooling On Demand (Nescod), an electricity-free cooling system, has been developed by KING ABDULLAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (KAUST) IN SAUDI ARABIA.
