1. India has shipped the first consignment of 5,022 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan to ensure food security during difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic.
कोविड -19  साथीच्या आजाराच्या कठीण काळात अन्नधान्याची सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी अफगाणिस्तानात 5,022 मेट्रिक टन गव्हाची पहिली खेप भारताने पाठविली आहे.

2. Public service broadcaster Prasar Bharti has launched a new channel specifically dedicated to old classics called DD Retro.
लोकसेवा प्रसारक प्रसार भारती यांनी विशेषत: डीडी रेट्रो नावाच्या जुन्या अभिजात लोकांसाठी समर्पित एक नवीन चॅनेल सुरू केले आहे.

3. Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has launched a web-portal YUKTI (Young India Combating COVID with Knowledge, Technology and Innovation) in New Delhi.
मनुष्यबळ विकास मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक यांनी नवी दिल्ली येथे YUKTI (यंग इंडिया कॉम्बीटिंग कॉविड विथ नॉलेज, टेक्नॉलॉजी अँड इनोव्हेशन) वेब पोर्टल सुरू केले आहे.

4. In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has successfully developed a double layered Khadi mask and has procured orders for supplying it in large quantities.
कोविड -19  च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर, खादी आणि ग्रामोद्योग आयोगाने (केव्हीआयसी) दुहेरी स्तरीय खादी मास्क यशस्वीरित्या विकसित केला आहे आणि मोठ्या प्रमाणात पुरवठा करण्याचे ऑर्डर प्राप्त केले आहेत.

5. The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) has bought 1.01 per cent stake in the Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC).
पीपल्स बँक ऑफ चायना (PBOC) ने हाऊसिंग डेव्हलपमेंट फायनान्स कॉर्पोरेशन (एचडीएफसी) मध्ये 1.01 टक्के हिस्सा खरेदी केला आहे.

6. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that over 40 vaccines are under various stages of development. But no vaccines have reached the final stage. The information was passed by Dr.Manoj Murhekar of ICMR.

8. Maha Bishuba Pana Sankranti is celebrated as the Odia New Year on 13 April. Pana Sankranti begins on 13 April every year. The day is named after “Pana”, a drink offering. The day is celebrated with great joy, social, cultural and religious performances.
महा बिशुबा पाना संक्रांती 13 एप्रिल रोजी ओडिया नवीन वर्ष म्हणून साजरी केली जाते. पाना संक्रांतीची सुरुवात दरवर्षी 13 एप्रिलपासून होते. दिवसाचे नाव “पाना”, एक पेय अर्पण आहे. हा दिवस मोठ्या आनंदाने, सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक आणि धार्मिक कामगिरीने साजरा केला जातो.

10. Stirling Moss, the British racer widely regarded as the greatest Formula One driver ever to win the world championship, has died at the age of 90.
विश्वविजेतेपद जिंकणारा आतापर्यंतचा महान फॉर्म्युला वन ड्रायव्हर म्हणून ओळखला जाणारा ब्रिटिश रेसर स्टर्लिंग मॉस यांचे 90 व्या वर्षी निधन झाले.
