1. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted a successful flight test of ABHYAS – High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) from Interim Test Range, Chandipur in Odisha.
डिफेन्स रिसर्च अँड डेव्हलपमेंट ऑर्गनायझेशन (HEAT) ने ओडिशातील चांदीपुर अंतरिम टेस्ट रेंज मधून ABHYAS-हाय-स्पीड एक्सपेन्डेबल एरियल टार्गेट (HEAT) ची यशस्वी उड्डाण चाचणी केली.

2. The Young Scientist Programme ‘Yuvika2019’ has been inaugurated by Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO Chairman Dr K Sivan.

3. Retail inflation rose marginally to 2.92 per cent in April this year, mainly due to the rise in food prices. According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation data released, the inflation based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 2.86 per cent in the previous month and 4.58 per cent in April last.
मुख्यतः अन्नधान्य किमतीत वाढ झाल्याने किरकोळ महागाईचा दर एप्रिलमध्ये किंचित वाढून 2.92 टक्के झाला. सांख्यिकी व कार्यक्रम अंमलबजावणीच्या आकडेवारीनुसार, ग्राहक किंमत निर्देशांक (सीपीआय) वर आधारित चलनवाढ मागील महिन्यात 2.86 टक्के होती आणि एप्रिलमध्ये 4.58 टक्के होती.

7. U.S. Department of Energy‘s Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in California created a new 100% recyclable plastic named Polydiketoenamine (PDK).

8. World Trade Organisation, WTO ministerial meeting of developing countries began in New Delhi.

9. India captain Virat Kohli bagged the International Cricketer and Batsman of the Year award during the CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) International awards 2019.
