1. Ernst & Young’s (EY) Renewable Energy (RE) Country Attractiveness Index was recently published in which India has been ranked at 3rd position.

2. The Union environment ministry has released a draft notification to regulate the extended producer responsibility (EPR) under the “Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016”.
केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्रालयाने “प्लास्टिक कचरा व्यवस्थापन नियम 2016″ अंतर्गत विस्तारित उत्पादक जबाबदारी (EPR) चे नियमन करण्यासाठी एक मसुदा अधिसूचना जारी केली आहे.

3. The Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Parshottam Rupala, launched the River Ranching Programme at Brijghat, Garh Mukteshwar, Uttar Pradesh.

5. The Indian Navy is set to take part in “Second Phase of multilateral maritime exercise” called “Exercise Malabar” along with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) and the United States Navy (USN).

8. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a Rs 100 lakh crore national master plan called “Gati Shakti National Master Plan” on October 13, 2021.
