1. Every year, May 15th is International Family Day. In 1993, the General Assembly decided to designate May 15 every year as the “International Day of the Family.” Since 1994, May 15 is observed as Family Day.
दरवर्षी, 15 मे हा आंतरराष्ट्रीय कौटुंबिक दिवस आहे. 1993 मध्ये महासभेने दरवर्षी 15 मेला “कौटुंबिक आंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस” म्हणून नियुक्त करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. 1994 पासून 15 मे हा कौटुंबिक दिवस म्हणून पाळला जातो.

2. Eroute Technologies has been given permission to operate as a prepaid payment instruments (PPI) company by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

3. COVAXIN’s Phase II/III clinical trial in children aged 2 to 18 years has been approved by the DCGI.
कोव्हॅक्सिनची फेज II / III 2 ते 18 वर्षे वयोगटातील मुलांच्या क्लिनिकल चाचणीला DCGIने मान्यता दिली आहे.

4. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approves proposed acquisition of 100% shareholding and sole control of Ingram Micro Inc. by Imola Acquisition Corporation.
भारतीय स्पर्धा आयोगाने (CCI) 100% भागभांडवल आणि इंदोला अधिग्रहण महामंडळाने इन्ग्राम मायक्रो इंक यांचे एकमेव नियंत्रण संपादन प्रस्तावित मंजूर केले.

5. Drug major Cipla said it has inked a pact with US-based Eli Lilly and Company to manufacture and produce baricitinib in the country for the treatment of COVID-19.
ड्रग्स प्रमुख सिप्ला म्हणाले की, त्यांनी कोविड -19 च्या उपचारांसाठी अमेरिकेतील एली लिली अँड कंपनीबरोबर बॅरीसिटीनिबची निर्मिती व निर्मिती करण्यासाठी करार केला आहे.

6. The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, released an amount of Rs. 8,923.8 crore to 25 States for providing grants to the Rural Local Bodies (RLBs).
वित्त मंत्रालयाच्या खर्चाच्या विभागाने ग्रामीण राज्यातील स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांना (RLBs) अनुदान देण्यासाठी 25 राज्यांमधील पंचायतांना 8923.8 कोटी रुपयांची रक्कम जाहीर केली.

7. The government has extended anti-dumping duty on certain types of seamless tubes, and pipes till October 31 this year with a view to guarding domestic manufacturers from cheap Chinese imports.
स्वस्त चिनी आयातीत घरगुती उत्पादकांना संरक्षण देण्याच्या उद्देशाने सरकारने यंदा 31 ऑक्टोबर पर्यंत सीमलेस ट्यूब आणि पाईप्सच्या विशिष्ट प्रकारांवर अँटी डम्पिंग शुल्क वाढविले आहे.

8. The mice population in Australia has increased exponentially. The mice are causing extensive damages to the cultivated crop and stored food grains
ऑस्ट्रेलियामध्ये उंदीरांची संख्या झपाट्याने वाढली आहे. उंदरांनी लागवड केलेल्या पिकाचे आणि साठवलेल्या धान्यांचे मोठ्या प्रमाणात नुकसान होत आहे.

9. The Government of India recently filed a review petition in the Supreme Court over its judgement on Maratha reservation in the State of Maharashtra. The Supreme Court had pronounced that the Maratha reservation under the Maharashtra law breaches the 50% ceiling of reservation.
महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील मराठा आरक्षणावरील निर्णयाबद्दल भारत सरकारने नुकतीच सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात पुनरावलोकन याचिका दाखल केली. महाराष्ट्र कायद्यानुसार मराठा आरक्षणाच्या 50% मर्यादेचा भंग करतात असा निर्णय सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने दिला होता.

10. Freedom fighter and veteran of the erstwhile Indian National Army (INA) Lalti Ram died. He was 100.
स्वातंत्र्यसैनिक आणि पूर्व भारतीय लष्कराचे वरिष्ठ नेते ललती राम यांचे निधन झाले आहे. ते 100 वर्षांचे होते.
