1. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh, inaugurated the Sisseri River Bridge. The bridge will reduce travel time between Dibang and Siang valleys in the state.

7. Indian Railways and France’s Alstom is to deliver ten high-powered electric locomotives in the financial year 2019-20. For this, the Alstom and Indian Railways have signed a procurement cum maintenance agreement with Madhepura Electric Locomotive Pvt. Ltd. (MELPL).

10. Singer Azad Yusuf, popularly known as Cochin Azad, who was famous for his renditions of Mohammed Rafi songs, passed away. He was 62.
मोहम्मद रफीच्या गाण्यांच्या गाण्यांसाठी प्रसिद्ध असलेल्या कोचीन आझाद म्हणून प्रसिद्ध गायक आझाद यूसुफ यांचे निधन झाले. ते 62 वर्षांचे होते.
