1. On India’s 77th Independence Day, the Indian Army inaugurated the “Bhagat Bridge” in Danna Village, which is the final village on the Line of Control in the Machhal Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
भारताच्या 77 व्या स्वातंत्र्यदिनी, भारतीय लष्कराने जम्मू आणि काश्मीरच्या मछल सेक्टरमधील नियंत्रण रेषेवरील शेवटचे गाव असलेल्या डन्ना गावात “भगत पुलाचे” उद्घाटन केले.

2. In his 77th Independence Day address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced a visionary plan to empower rural women through Women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs). He announced an ambitious objective of enabling 2 crore ‘Lakhpati Didis’ (women millionaires) in villages, highlighting the government’s partnership with SHGs. Presently, these groups have 10 crore women as members.
77 व्या स्वातंत्र्यदिनाच्या भाषणात, पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी महिला बचत गटांद्वारे (SHGs) ग्रामीण महिलांना सक्षम करण्यासाठी एक दूरदर्शी योजना सादर केली. त्यांनी खेड्यापाड्यात 2 कोटी ‘लखपती दीदी’ (महिला लक्षाधीश) सक्षम करण्याचे महत्त्वाकांक्षी उद्दिष्ट जाहीर केले, SHGs सोबत सरकारची भागीदारी अधोरेखित केली. सध्या या गटांमध्ये 10 कोटी महिला सदस्य आहेत.

4. According to the ‘High Court dashboard’ created by DAKSH, a think-tank focused on law and justice system reforms, the number of Bail Appeals filed in India’s High Courts has seen a significant increase post-2020.
कायदा आणि न्याय व्यवस्थेतील सुधारणांवर लक्ष केंद्रित करणार्‍या DAKSH या थिंक टँकने तयार केलेल्या ‘हायकोर्ट डॅशबोर्ड’नुसार, भारतातील उच्च न्यायालयांमध्ये दाखल केलेल्या जामीन अपीलांच्या संख्येत 2020 नंतर लक्षणीय वाढ झाली आहे.

5. Recently, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced its intention to introduce a comprehensive framework aimed at enhancing transparency and establishing clear guidelines for resetting Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs) for floating rate loans.
अलीकडे, रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया (RBI) ने पारदर्शकता वाढवण्याच्या उद्देशाने एक व्यापक फ्रेमवर्क सादर करण्याचा आणि फ्लोटिंग रेट कर्जासाठी समान मासिक हप्ते (EMIs) रीसेट करण्यासाठी स्पष्ट मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे स्थापित करण्याचा आपला हेतू जाहीर केला आहे.

6. Recently, the Minister of Labour and Employment shared important information about the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996, in a written response presented in the Rajya Sabha.
