1. The nation celebrates Vijay Diwas on 16 December to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war.

2. The Ministry of Coal has decided to establish a Sustainable Development Cell (SDC) in order to promote environmentally sustainable coal mining in the country.
कोळसा मंत्रालयाने देशात पर्यावरणास शाश्वत कोळसा खाण उत्तेजन देण्यासाठी एक टिकाऊ विकास सेल (SDC) स्थापन करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.

3. The World Design Organization is all set to launch its new global programme World Design Protopolis in Bengaluru.

4. Search engine giant Google has revealed that it’s powerful mapping service, Google Earth now covers more than 98 percent of the world.
सर्च इंजिन गुगलने खुलासा केला आहे की ही सामर्थ्यवान मॅपिंग सेवा आहे, गुगल अर्थ आता जगातील 98 टक्क्यांहून अधिक व्यापते.

5. Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Sanjiv Kapoor has resigned from the post on 16 December 2019. He will be working with the airline till 31 December 2019. Kapoor had resigned due to personal reasons. Vinod Kannan, Vistara’s Chief Strategy Officer will replace as the CCO.
विस्ताराचे मुख्य वाणिज्य अधिकारी (सीसीओ) संजीव कपूर यांनी 16 डिसेंबर 2019 रोजी या पदाचा राजीनामा दिला आहे. ते 31 डिसेंबर 2019 पर्यंत विमान कंपनीत काम करतील. कपूर यांनी वैयक्तिक कारणास्तव राजीनामा दिला होता. विस्तोराचे मुख्य रणनीती अधिकारी विनोद कन्नन सीसीओ म्हणून बदली होतील.

6. The shuttle train service between Lahore and Wagah railway station resumed its operation on 15 December after a gap of 22 years. The service was inaugurated by Pakistan Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid.
लाहोर ते वाघा रेल्वे स्थानक दरम्यान शटल ट्रेन सेवा 22 वर्षांच्या अंतरानंतर 15 डिसेंबर रोजी पुन्हा सुरू झाली. या सेवेचे उद्घाटन पाकिस्तानचे रेल्वेमंत्री शेख रशीद यांच्या हस्ते झाले.

7. AirAsia India appointed Ankur Garg as its chief commercial officer (CCO). The announcement was made by the company on 15 December.
एअरएशिया इंडियाने अंकुर गर्ग याची मुख्य व्यावसायिक अधिकारी (सीसीओ) म्हणून नियुक्ती केली. कंपनीने ही घोषणा 15 डिसेंबर रोजी केली होती.

8. The Income Tax Department announced that it is mandatory to link the PAN with Aadhaar by the end of 2019 on 15 December. It announced that the deadline for the linking of the Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar was extended till 31 December by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) through an order issued in September 2019.
प्राप्तिकर विभागाने जाहीर केले की 15 डिसेंबर रोजी पॅनला आधारशी जोडणे बंधनकारक आहे. केंद्रीय जाहीर कर मंडळाने (CBDT) सप्टेंबर 2019 मध्ये जारी केलेल्या आदेशाद्वारे स्थायी खाते क्रमांक (पॅन) आधारशी जोडण्याची अंतिम मुदत December१ डिसेंबरपर्यंत वाढविण्यात आली आहे.
